Gothic 1 and 2 are good games but the controls aged like milk, you can't deny this.
HOWEVER, they're still less broken than everything Piranha Bytes made after them.
My personal favorite eurojank will always be the original Risen though.

Risen series is really underrated. Risen 1 is just Gothic 2 with updated combat.
In Risen 2 combat bearly works at the beginning but after you joing a faction you can cheese every thing with muskets/magic.
Risen 3 feels like patched Risen 2 unfortunetly story is weaker, main character sucks and game is too easy.
