It was fun. I liked that they didn't waste time with trash mob fights or instanced duties like Alexander or Omega and just got right to the bosses.
Fights themselves were solid. OSTs were good, mechanics were nice, I enjoyed myself.
The story justification seems weaker though. I'm not particularly interested in Eden or whatever the Voidwalker girl turns out to be. Feels like it just exists to give context to fight bosses, not a part of the story.

My PC has also been stuttering a bit with too many particle effects lately. I wasn't sure if it was a ShB thing or not, because my PC should be more than capable of running the game at 60 fps. I cleared O1S with my static on the second run. That's really fucking sad.

Like I died a couple times on E3 and also a bit on E4 but they really weren't that hard when you picked up on the mechanics and knew where to stand and dodge the obvious glowy bad. This was Day One to boot only a few hours after the raids opened.

I do feel there's a problem with people who bought story skips as I've seen a few sprouts hovering around in the raids and I have no idea how they could have got there otherwise.

Reminder that there are groups that wipe 10 times to Titania NM, Innocence NM the last story Dungeon and groups that disband at Hades out of all things. If you die once in your endgame content you're still good. Don't be too hard on yourself.

It feels much more priority based and not rigid now that you can hard thunder mid fire and save procs to use sharp on CD, but there is definitely always a correct thing to do next and not anything freestyle.

Every group I've had since, I did as healer and every group has one-shotted it.

It's far from slow at 80. Eventually you get Flourish which gives you all of your procs instantly for free every 60 seconds

Healing parse percentages are useless, if you look at it a lot of good healers have shit heal %s because they aren't overhealing out of their ass.
It doesn't necessarely mean they aren't healing, it just means you're healing more than needed.

What game are you playing because there are tons of busters that have literally 1 gcd of wind up. You have to either memorize that they'll use it the gcd before, decide to risk continuing your gcd vs clipping hard, or just eat it.

I'm having such a hard time deciding on a healer to main. I've mained AST since it came out, but I'm not sure how I'm liking it in ShB (it feels like I have to do far more work to get the same effect a WHM or SCH gets much more easily).

SCH I love the idea of but for some reason leaves me a bit dissatisfied (probably partially due to the shields popping after like two seconds of being on the target).

WHM was normally super boring for me, but now at least feels like faceroll easy mode.
