Would have been interested in seeing them maybe complete the game they wanted 7 to be with the DLC. Clearly there was going to be some split decision missions that involved defecting from Osea and joining the convicts, or staying with the LRSSG (default path). There also seemed to be a huge plot point in the UAV systems going SkyNet, but it never really happens. Though it made no sense to destroy the Lighthouse that would have certainly raised the stakes.

Also, the entire Mobius 1 returning in the PS4 VR missions would have been cool, but that too was just a teaser that went no where.

The F-18s that Schroder brought in his escort started attacking you because they could register that you are Osean and shot down Eruseans. There's more to it than that though. On that very same mission you sometimes get a broadcast from AWACS "Argus" instructing all Osean forces to kill the traitor Karl and defector Larbathe. The voice is heavily robotic and ties in with the chopper being shot down by fake Osean autonomous drone fighters. There would be no reason for that to happen as it wasn't a combatant nor did the Oseans want to kill Labarthe. "Argus" from Greek mythology also fits in with the theme of the all-seeing non-human eye.

Because while the visuals are great and gameplay is still the same fun gameplay, the missions are mostly uninspired (with a few notable exceptions) and the story was WEAK. the part ace combat is famous for was just WEAK.
