Why is modern MMA (the most efficient martial art) underrepresented in fighting games?

MMA is only good in 1 on 1 fights, something that rarely happens in games. more traditional styles like Ninjuitsui and Tai Chi are better suited for dealing with mobs.

A game where two naked men peacock at each other for several minutes and then one knocks the other out in two seconds sounds even less fun to play than it does to watch. Might as well get a job at Buffalo wild wings so you at least get paid while you sit through the boring ass shit.

Because wrestling tends not to be in fighting games that aren't devoted specifically to wrestling. Take wrestling out of MMA and you basically just have cherry picked attacks that aren't effective when put together because half of them are designed to get a person to the ground to engage in wrestling.

But UFC 3 is a more complex and better fighting game than all the bullshit at EVO. Also, no other fighting game comes close in the graphics department.

You're retarded. You don't offer your arm to do that. It's a tactic for when you're involved in a grapple battle. As MMA shows, there are virtually no times when you're going to get a clean grapple that leaves your opponent defenseless. They have to struggle for a while before they get into a fully dominant position. Grappling suddenly becomes a lot riskier during that struggle if your most vulnerable bits are fair game.

Neither of those things means fuck all. Most MMA fighters would win a real fight against most boxers, because they're rules are less restrictive and thus have more relevant experience.

Even if you exclude straight up firearm usage, weapon based martial arts are vastly more effective, although grappling is certainly featured in HEMA. Also, improvised weapon martial arts are better than straight unarmed.
