Hey user-kun, will you be putting me inside of your next gaming build?

where's my budget shit

Yes I will

Waiting for the cards with better coolers next month

3600, 3600X or 3700X?

Yes. My next build will be AMD exclusive.

Im sorry
Im stuck on am3+ and I dont want to buy a new mobo, new ram, and a new cpu just to play games slightly better
I rarely play aaa games anyway

3700X and a 5700XT

The new sharpening filter is pretty good.
Open sourced too

No I'm buying a $200 GPU sometime this year so probably a 590.

The shittiest am4 cpu will have better single thread perf than whatever you have now.

Why would you need to buy all that?

I have a shitty old amd fx-8370 or something like that, cant remember the exact number.
An upgrade like that wouldnt be cost effective for me since I rarely run intense games.

An am3+ motherboard isnt compatible with new cpus which are am4, and my ram wouldnt be compatible either.

I think I'll just get a used 1070ti.

Yeah, probably

only when you get better 3rd party cooling

I kinda wish I bought that single slot 1070 when it was still in stock

Why single slot?

Bought RX 480 years ago, I am never going to buy another radeon card ever again. The drivers even fucking die watching any internet vid sometimes. AMD is a fucking mess of a company and it's a wonder how they haven't gone under yet.

n-no

budget processors.

>buy amd
>2 day shipping
>tfw forgot to buy 2 day shipping on patches and have to wait 4 weeks before they release a patch so I can actually use it

feels fucking bad bros

it was slightly better than founders in thermals while being small as heck

>buying reference cards
There's only one idiot in your story.

I know

I fucking bought amd

how much would a pre built top of the line ray tracing gamer pc cost right now

where can I get one

No. TDP too high. I need my computer almost silent.

Well, best would be in the $2500 range, but at the top shelf you really start overpaying for minimal gains. $1500 would still be great.

I really fucking hate that bend they put into it. If I hadn't known about that, I would send that shit back thinking it got crushed in the UPS box or something.

Absolute top of the line prebuilt would be about 5K at Digitalstorm.
Way overpriced though, build it yourself instead and save like 1K+

send me to it please

But user Intel has connections to the illegitimate state of Israel.

I'm thinking of getting a 3700x with a 2070 super or 2080 super for 1440p/144hz. Is that the ideal combo right now?

Anything above "enthusiast" is outright stupid since multi-GPU setups are rarely utilized properly in games.

That list isn't entirely correct but it's a decent start.
9900K still performs better than 3900X in a majority of modern games, so i'd recommend a 9900K + 2080 Ti setup to user.

They aren't even officially supported.
