I work as an editor in the Atlanta film industry and as a freelance graphic designer. At first, I was a Mac guy all the way, because everyone else was. Then, I had a good friend and co-worker convince me to build my own PC.

Mac hardware is plain AIDS. Difficult to customize too. I recommend PC just so you have the choice of hardware and software.
