that 1 scene in alan wake. you know the scene.
I want a new LA Noire.
The soundtrack was so good, the detective work was fun.
The combat was decent.
now i'm thinking i shouldn't have stopped playing Alan Wake
one of my favourite games. makes me sad thinking about the events that transpire throughout the game ;_;
tfw you can't just solve crimes in the homicide desk with rusty forever
Makes me sad we probably won't see a game like it for a long time.
I'd love to see a LA Noire game set in the 70s
this would be based actually. set it around the cocaine trade or something and maybe have a branching story where you can choose to be a straight cop or bent. include an honour system similar to RDR except it actually affects story missions
holy fuck that'd be so good if done right
it could be like vice city, except more serious

One of, if not the most iconic ending credits in all of vidya.
What scene?
THE GAME WAS RIGGED FROM THE START
I agree. The writing may have gone down hill, the gunplay tacked on and shit, the world too large and unnecessary but that fucking soundtrack was perfect.
>LA Neo-Noire
I PRAY TO NO ONE
NOR WILL I BE PRAYED TO
BUT ABOVE ALL ELSE...
I WILL NEVER...
FORGIVE YOU....
FOR MAKING MY DAUGHTER CRRYYYYY
ARE U A MAD MAN?
id rather have it include both the 70s and 80s somehow like that driver game that switched between eras
also i want the guns to be as detailed and fun as they are in rdr 2 and the setting to not be miami or anything hawaiian shirt palm tree related because fuck that aesthetic
DON'T SAY THE G WORD
YOU'RE TRANSFORMING PEOPLE INTO ADHESIVES
There are basically no games set in NYC during the "Ford to City: Drop Dead" period of the 70s, yet it's such a prominent setting for many of the best crime films ever made like The French Connection, Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, The Warriors, etc.
A Scorcese-inspired NY Noire game would probably win GOTY.
>LA Noire game that takes place parallel to GTA VIce
Based
you know, the scene
WARRIORS
TOUCH BARE ASS
But who was on third?
Nice Guys the video game would be amazing
HA HA HA
Brainlet
I mean the entire viking metal farm section pretty much made the entire purchase for me, i wish we got more games like alan wake.
GOD DAMN IT
what games are based in the 70s anons?
>the warriors
>driver parallel lines
>Entire part of the game is set during the blackout
>Dealing with crimes in a lightless city
Would be fucking great.
Yes this. Music was top, fun gameplay and also seeing all the old now gone locations/fashion/architecture was really fun.
They made the world too big for my taste, though yeah they nailed the atmosphere.
It's sad to see that a lot of the pretty buildings and unique art deco architecture in that game have been demolished now.
Such is life.
all of it
Delete this right now

>video starts
>neo kobe city theme plays
instant kino
I've been wanting this for years, I fear it's too cool to actually happen though
You know what's funny? Nobody ever mentions Brutal Legend. What a waste of talent that game was. The RTS shit pissed me off.
It was a spiritual successor to Sacrifice
It was its intention from the get go
Though I believe if EA marketed it better, it was its full length(Tim wanted it to be ALOT longer, and more fleshed out in the RPG and RTS sections) it'd have done better
This game belongs in a museum
want to try again?
You should check out The Warriors literally this aesthetic to a tee and has a couple missions during the blackout riots where you're raising hell.
Good thing it's on sale right now.
Was referring to LA Noire, OP's pic dumbfuck
you could've been responding to any of the other fucking posts, do you expect everyone to be psychic just because you're a brain dead cretin!
shut the fuck up
A man chooses. A slave obeys
i'll never forget the first time i played cube world
does anyone remember mafiops? aka supsmal 23
played the first level again last week. someday i'll get around to playing the whole game.
What scene? Never got an Xbox
>Cheats on his wife with some ugly bitch and gets moved to arisen
Dropped the game right there.
I was pretty cynical when i started playing the DMC series but even I gotta admit in that time that this scene was pure kino youtu.be
Game goes to shit after that and it wasn't even all that good but by god is Rapture great and Ryan one of the most kino villains ever. It's not every day a character is done in by their own thesis. Fontaine was exactly the kind of person who thrived in Rapture. An asshole out solely for themselves.
Life imitates art
That typo made me think Grigori came from the sky and stole Cole's heart.
not him but the game is on PC now. used to be on Steam now it's on GOG.
I was legit bam boozled
