The best plan of action if something attracts attention that you don't want it to is to simply do nothing until doubt and unrest set in. For sure if a bunch of people said "Hey Area 51 is secretive and hiding something", I sure as fuck wouldn't then suddenly load up a bunch of suspicious things on less-secure trucks just to move them out and confirm their suspicions to add evidence.

My point is that they wouldn't store anything that secretive there in the first place. we already pretty much know what goes on there. they test secret experimental aircraft and have been doing so since the 40's. most of the supersonic and stealth aircraft were test flown there and it's likely still a proving grounds for new aviation technology.

It's extremely unlikely that they have any aliens there at all because that simply isn't the purpose of that base. MAYBE they have ARVs that they test there but thats a big maybe

Is a sort of tech demo in a way, in the sense of "look at all these things that are not being done but can, not fully developed but the tech will be there.

Bodycount had a niche hype for it because it was by the same devs on a next gen console but that blew out very soon too.

What you get in 2019 is a short FPS with a plot that does not end or goes anywhere, just going around shooting people.

Is sad and at the same time is hard to say if the team had good ideas but was restricted by the hardware or if they were simply incapable of handling the good ideas they had.

It was pretty good. Playing it on PC is fun as fuck. Doesn't hold a candle to Timesplitters but good nonetheless. I loved having David Duchovny (Fox Mulder) voice the protagonist and I loved the neat references to the original arcade game and even having the alien transformation be a reference to the secret alien mode. That was fucking based of them to add. Also the original E3 trailer was fucking spooky

The PC version is actually a mess on modern Windows. Extremely unstable. There was a thing called Project Dreamland that was trying to reverse engineer the game and fix it. You can find it on ModdB and Github.

Battlefield 3's campaign is a loose remake of Black. I'd argue it's better than Black overall. Black really wasn't as good as people remember it. Bullet sponge enemies galore.

It is. I have to enable FRAPs every time to fix it.
If that's not fixable in Project Dreamland, then I guess I'll just stick with the regular version because other than the FoV and Jump bug I don't have any other problems with it.
