Honestly, this one was my fault. I bought it based on the constant praise I saw for it, and for the fact there were separate crafting classes alongside the combat ones. I assumed it had an interesting crafting system, and instead got a couple dozen hours of Bop-It for every crafting job. Also a bunch of fetch quests and checklists.

Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. It was on sale as a bundle. I was really excited to play these after having a lot of fun with DOOM, but I can't motivate myself to actually finish them. Above all, the thing is that kills it for me the most is that you have to look down and press x on EVERY piece of ammo to pick it up. I preordered dragon age 2 and regret it to this day. I'm one of the "proud" few people who own the game on Steam because I bought it before EA decided to make it an Origin exclusive, too. What a horrible fucking game, it's what taught me the lesson to never EVER preorder.

I pre-ordered MGSV. Ran the whole series beforehand, played the game at the very crack of dawn when the preorders went up.
The feeling of actually playing the game, the spectacular intro, the feeling of entering an open world MGS, realizing I could play music over the radio and hearing "Man Who Sold The World" while entering what looked like an endlessly vast desert was fucking mesmerizing. It felt like a dream game.

Then I got fucking tired of it quick when I realized it was like, two fucking maps with a lot of padded sub-missions, and a lot of stupid, padded resource hunting for upgrades. Never beat it. The plot never actually hooked me.
Maybe I'll beat it one day.

If you get the PC mods and kill Quiet the game becomes much more fun

Your units move slow as shit, winter makes them move slower, random events can happen which cause invisible ghosts to spawn everywhere and take over your unguarded towns and mines, you could start the game with a neutral doom stack right outside your castle, the ai will commonly be wiped out by neutral stacks before you ever see them, all the factions have some element of rng to fuck them over like raising the dead with necromancers gives a 20% or higher chance per turn for your necromancer to skip their turn which only ticks down by 1% per turn.
You can't control your units so your thousand spearmen will charge into a banshee who screams often enough to be a stationary killbox for them, some creatures can have regenerate which makes them unkillable by mundane means so if your only wizard dies in combat your thousand soldiers will stand around swinging on a single endlessly respawning enemy until you hit the auto-resolve battle and blindly hope it gives you the win. Your units can only move if they have a leader unit leading them, if they die in combat your entire army will sit around until you send out another leader to pick them up. When an army does become abandoned there's no way to highlight them and with the tiny map icons for units if they get left on a mountain you're going to play Where's Wally just to find them. Pic related, I have an army of 8 catapults and 20 ballista abandoned somewhere in this image, try and find them.

I expected Lollipop Chainsaw to be like No More Heroes but with a chick and zombies, but BOY was I wrong... should've expected it for the era. DBFZ was supposed to be played with my friends, but because it was such an easy, streamlined game, none of them really enjoy playing the game--myself included--so no-one plays it, though I got it because I wanted to play with them. Big fighting game player.

I like how everyone is saying this is bait. I was as hyped as the rest of Yea Forums to play it and I've always enjoyed the Devil May Cry games. I really think a lot of it came down to the level design for me, nothing was super interesting. The combat is still fairly good and the story wasn't all too bad either, it just didn't really pull me in and felt painfully short also. I don't so much regret buying it as I was disappointed I bought it day one, should have waited for a sale or something. Shame too because I absolutely loved RE2make.

In the future boot steam in to offline mode and play shit, it does not count towards hours played and if you earn achievements just download SAM while in offline mode re-lock them prior to going back online.

Something about it really felt like those "I dropped Mario in UE4" videos and the game lacked the charm that other Rare games had.

I dont hate DeS, but I havnt been able to enjoy it yet. All of the enemies seem way overleveled and in order to have a decent build you have to grind and farm obnoxious RNG upgrade materials. Ive restarted a few times looking for a build that plays more fun but the weapon upgrade and equip load hurdles just make it tedious.

Not trying to brag but going back to DeS after doing DaS, the enemies don't seem that bad beyond the Red Eye knights that can kill you easily in the early game and giving your guy some magic projectiles and a flame sword can take care of most enemies easily.
