my only complaint with the remake is it stopped him being shirtless and they also gave him voiceacting even though the made up language was a really cool integral part of what makes Klonoa special. The people who repeat "muh sonic design" are just NPCs parroting someone elses thoughts, ignore them.

And it's still what he looks like to this day. The Wii remake design was alright because it made his eyes less Sonic-like and gave him a different outfit, but the Lunatea's Veil design is what most people remember (And it's the one that's appeared in the most games) so it's the one that's most likely to get used on the extremely rare chance that Klonoa cameos in a crossover.
