I watched this show and got physically angry at how bad it was. Didn't know it had a VN.

Visual novels are not games, go read a book or sonething.

Of course you didn't zoomer

If they were capable of turning it into the rubbish that I watched then it's clearly not worth caring about.

consider suicide

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Dies Irae. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of philosophy and metaphysics most of the monologues will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Mercurius’ nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Friedrich Nietzsche’s literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these monologues, to realise that they’re not just chunni as fuck- they say something deep about FOREKNOWLEDGE. As a consequence people who dislike Dies Irae truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Mercurius’ existential catchphrase “Acta est Fabula” which itself is a cryptic reference to Nietzsche's "Also Sprach Zarathustra". I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Masada’s genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

It's one of those stories that's too advanced for normalfags, but too retarded for anyone with a brain. It's quintessential pseud-core.

Uh bros explain

Is this your first VN adaptation?

Jrpgs are better because RPG gameplay is fun. (Game depending)

>not worth caring about
get foreknowledge

>they don't force you through hours of tedius battles.
>instead they force you through hours of tedius filler text.

Isn't that the VN that was supposed to be a trilogy but got the last game scrapped due to poor sales? It seems like they packaged two parts into one game and called it off. If i take a look at the release page on vndb then i must say, they deserved it. What a clusterfuck of a fucking mess their releases were 23 fucking editions, and that is the original jap alone. What the flying fuck were they thinking?

user SoL tedius filler texts are why people read moege. They want escapism.

>why there is gameplay in my game
>is so tedious

Attached: 453.jpg (672x663, 44K)

>read Fate/Stay Night
>they give an autistic 20 hour explanation of how magic works
>then they repeat it over and over again in case the retards in the audience didn't get it
Why do VNs do this?

What is retarded about it?
its your typical shonen but with gods and foreknowledge and cute girls.

She had it coming.

remove gods and put vampire nazis, and you got it right

Gods are more prominent in DI than vampire Nazis

There're more gods than vampire nazis though.

only latter

>read umineko
>5 hours and still in the introduction of characters
VNs are garbage
ALL OF THEM

it seems like you despise reading and prefer easily obtained fanservice
JRPGs are for you user

>120+ hours long mystery VN with 18 characters has a long introduction of characters
>this is somehow bad
dumb makotofag

it's not bad, it's painfully boring
i prefer play games

>i dont have the attention span for VNs
ok got it zoomer
