I always assumed I would get this when I bought a Switch but I recently watched some clips of it on youtube. It looks really boring.

How does Shining Resonance Refrain compare to say XB2 or Vesperia?
Did you find I Am Setsuna to be so boring you drifted off into a deep sleep while playing it?

yeah i wanna pick up xenoblade 2 and a few others but i've not finished the rpgs i have.

Vesperia and xc2 are very high budget jrpgs so their scale is massive and they have somewhat complex mechanics
Shining resonance is noticeably lower budget and combat is quite simpler, sr is also not really focused on exploring, you have a hub town and you cab trav to dungeons from there, i enjoyed it quite a bit still, the worst part of the game is definitely the mc, hes just whiny and annoying especially at the beginning
Also it actually looks waay sharper than vespperia or xb2 on hanheld mode, its clearly native 720p while vesperia looks blurry and xc looks horrible

I am setsuna was very nice to play, it looks and sounds great, its not very challenging bit i was never bored with it, i guess ppl mix up relaxing with boring, a similar game to that was blue reflection, it was very easy and slow but relaxing and overall a nice experience

A lot of them I’ve only played for 2~5 hours, I just ain’t got time for them all
