i cant remember a single good bundle for the past 2 years, just let it go

"No new bundle today, but please come back tomorrow for our brand new book/comic bundle." - IGN

Humble bundle is dead since ign took over
No good small bundles
Maybe one good game if we are lucky in 15$ tier
Monthly is a joke with 1 decent indie game every 3 months that would be cheaper to get on sale

What is the humble bundle? Where do I buy the games from? Steam? Epic? GOG?

Ok, whos ready to drop some keys?

>only game I want is in the 15+ category
>it costs less than that regularly

I love when that happens.

Give me the cute and funny bundle.

Why haven't they been good bros? What happened?

What are the benefits of being a monthly subscriber? Cant I just buy the games for $10 as soon as they are put out?

The benefits are: You're giving them a set amount of money every month/year and you might forget to cancel it when the next charge date comes up.

Oh, what was that? You meant benefits for you, the consumer? Well, there are none.

They stopped getting good indie games.

They still do game bundles? I thought it was just feminist literature, cape shit comics and programming books that are free on pirate bay.

10% discount on the store. Access to the games in the "Trove".

>the boys complete series

fuck, that's probably my favorite comic I've ever read, at least while I read it

Yes, please.
If 5, Chino bundle.
Honestly, I don't expect anything and my hands are already full...

bleh

Hasn't it been like 2 months since the last PC bundle?

>its a lesbian scifi book bundle
humblebundle.com/books/start-a-new-series-books?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=startanewseries_parable

It's fucking nothing and I'm not surprised one bit.

fanatical and gmg have better bundles at this point.

did you seriously expect anything?

There is a whole G2A thing going on right now, so no dev wants to give out keys.

Let a man dream!

It's playstation games. Woo...

Good. Anytime i get an itch to buy a humble bundle because its really cheap, i ask myself why don't i just pirate it? And the answer usually is "i don't care about these games".

Saves me a buck.

Well, at least we still got some good memories from when humble bundle was good.

imagine being this brainlet

I have over 1000 games on steam and you don’t

I just finished Sleeping Dogs + DLC.

What should I play next?

What do you have?

do people even buy these shitty book bundle

Humble is dead. You heard it first here, from Monokuma!

Attached: back.jpg (256x256, 9K)

Tons of shit.
Name something you recommend, and If I have it, i'll play it.

Preferably something single player, with an end.

I do because smart people read books, they don’t play video games

FUCKING BEAR!

These books are "kindle unlimited" tier books though.

Maybe I shouldn't have fired you, Jeremias...

Then what else the fuck is there?

It’s called books, maybe you’ve heard of them?

Not that I use that service, but tons of things are on it so that's hardly a metric.
I mostly use prime reading for comics though, they put lots of volume ones and if I like it I pirate more.

Yeah it must take a real genius to grasp the subtle nuances of "Sunglasses After Dark" and "When Gravity Fails"

20% right now.

How is credit card fraud a game selling company's problem?

Even the charity involved with the book collections are shit, its pretty much buying shitty books so the amateur writers can make more shitty books, its not even a real charity, what fucking retarded ponzi scheme is this?

So what is it?

lol, new steam bundle out of nowhere.

humblebundle.com/games/very-positive-bundle-3?hmb_source=navbar&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=tile_index_1

It's trash

Nex Machina for 5 bucks is as far from trash as you can go.

Unexplored for a buck is aight I guess. In terms of longevity you'd definitely get your money's worth.

Anyone have anything to say about Unexplored? I generally enjoy roguelite games for a while, and for $1 it's worth a try, yeah?

I've had enough of these shitty bundles, I have more luck checking Fanatical every week.

>automatically adding Monthly to the purchase, with an unclear "remove" option because it has an untoggled option that makes it seem like it's not selected

Fucking scum. Like yeah, they make you toggle it "on" at least, but forcing it into your cart automatically is a fucking scummy move, making you manually remove it if you want to buy the bundle without the subscription.

pic of the scummy shit for subscribers who can't see it

Hold a trial then, dumb bear.

WARNING!

rain world.

Hollow Knight.

More like lame world

More like horrible knight

Yeah, fucking right? They go super dramatic with not only wording, but by giving that shit 2 full orange highlighted boxes of text with exclamation points and everything, but if you actually want to downsize to the product you're on the fucking page to buy you need to find the tiny little underlined "remove" option, which isn't colored unlike the fucking "please check here to throw away $12" just above it.

Nah, I download my porn.

Humble bundle does comics?
I love the boys

Understandable.

more like idk they're pretty fun

There's literally nothing wrong with AliExpress, it's chink ebay but with little risk of getting chinked because of all the customer protections in place. My only complaint is that shipping takes like three weeks on most orders.

maybe some of you aren't aware. this is the closest thing to a half decent bundle site these days
fanatical.com/en/bundle

It won't let you check out unless you click the box. Cry more.

I love Rusty Lakes but I don't think I could recommend it. Bit like Ross Scott's love for Puzzle Agent.

>>>/chinkshitgeneral/
Every time I end up having to order from AliExpress or Alibaba I hate it

It looks like they took a page out of G2A's handbook, which is Ironic because G2A is actually less scummy than it used to be. You used to have to untoggle some protection plan by default, and the monthly subscription before payment, but now you just get offered the monthy subscription when you select payment options and it's untoggled by default.

I mostly only buy simple shit like heavy duty suction cups. The most expensive Item I bought was a digital clock with seconds for 30 dollars, and I was satisfied.

>I have more luck checking Fanatical every week.
Oh yeah, rebundles and new mystery bundle: even more expensive edition every now and then, how exciting

Fanatical is great, I got Bloodstained for 26 dollars from them because they usually do discounts for new games and there was a gamespot code that knocked off another 15%. When I bought Ace Combat 7 from them and didn't receive my pre-order code, they emailed me the code a a few days after messaging them. Apparently Bamco was having issues distributing codes to affiliated third party key sites.

>Fanatical Anthology Mega Bundle
Really good if you don't all of the good games already like I do.

This. Shit ain't like it used to be years ago, getting stuff like practically all sega's first party stuff or a bunch of THQ games or whatever

>okami HD is 50%off there right now

I've never seen it go below 30% off on steam, even during the summer/winter sales

I was going to buy it during the steam summer sale fo 70$mex but I didn't in the end. Now I'll get it for 100$ mex with some extra games, not bad if you ask me

Occasionally there's a good bundle that's worth getting for the 1 or two games you're interested in. Pic related cost a buck. Anyone want the other trash?

post pixel puzzles japan if you will

Unexplored is extremely good. It's a roguelite with level design that feels like a real RPG. Bosses are well-placed, there are items that allow you to explore previously inaccessible areas, other items that allow you to creatively get past those road blocks. Nice class system that is tied to in-game achievement mechanics. Really good time.

Go nuts

>It's a roguelite
>lite

STOP

thanks. i grabbed pixel puzzle japan and the anime one.
hopefully people won't get too greedy and claim a ton of them.

nah, i'm good

The thing is, if you hang around Fanatical long enough, you'll get everything you wanted, and then it's just repeats only.

Apparently so. I bought it. They have pretty solid download options.

I torrented earlier ones on cbz format. Didn't know it's been embraced as a go-to reader by the legal digital outlets

>The thing is, if you hang around Fanatical long enough, you'll get everything you wanted, and then it's just repeats only.
Fanatical must have endless F.E.A.R. keys because that 5 dollar bundle has been on their storefront for years.

You're right, we should just waste our time saying "game with elements similar to the 1980 videogame Rogue, but in a less strict manner, usually including short gameplay sessions that give you a reason to want to replay the same short randomly-generated-content-based game repeatedly instead of 1 longer game". Because that's more convenient than "Roguelite", right?

>You're right, we should just waste our time saying "game with elements similar to the 1980 videogame Rogue
RogueLIKE accomplishes that succinctly.
>but in a less strict manner
Now you're just feeding your autism to endlessly categorize everything.

There is a difference between "roguelike" and "rougelite", sorry if you can't comprehend it. Roguelites stray much further from Rogue.

I dislike the genre and I dislike the word because it's misused a lot, but randomly generated games with some form of character progression and instadeath that aren't deep enough to be considered roguelike are plentiful enough in the recent decade so that you'd have to describe them by that word.
If the entire mechanical depth of the game is comparable to like 1-2 aspects of ADOM, then it's not really a roguelike.

Anyone has any discount codes for Fanatical ?

>There is a difference between "roguelike" and "rougelite", sorry if you can't comprehend it. Roguelites stray much further from Rogue.
The cuttoffs for Roguelike, Roguelite are completely arbitrary.

Necessary mods for prison architect?

I have one, It's G2A.com and you put in the urlbar.

Remember when Humble Bundle was actually good? Feels like it was forever ago.

Even when it was good, people would complain about shit bundles. Good times.

Not a bad bundle, Getting nex machina and shantae for 10 bucks is definitely worth.

Eh, it's ok. Probably the best they've done all year, but that's not saying much.

Not completely, but they're open to interpretation.
My interpretation is that Roguelikes are generally turn-based, grid-based tactical games that often feature mechanics like permanent death and procedural generation.
Roguelites are just games that adhere to this less rigidly. Generally they need only have some mechanic that encourages high replayability in order to explore the game's main mechanics.

Bendy seems neat. Has anyone played it?

>ITT: nu-Humble Bundle fanboys defending nu-Humble Bundle again

Bet you didn't even buy Humble Indie Bundle V.

You can say the same shit for all games. Is Skyrim an "Action" game, or an RPG? If you're playing with perma-death (which quite a few people do) in Skyrim, does that make it a roguelike? Genres can mix and match, and most games are arbitrary in what we call them.

There is a clear purpose in using "lite" instead of "like" though. When someone uses "lite" you can instantly be aware that it's a less in-depth game with not as much to manage, which saves people from having to explain it. When you're describing a game in 1 or 2 sentences using a word like "roguelite" instead of "roguelike" can cut how much you need to type in half by itself.

I bought the very first Humble Indie Bundle for one cent, but the second one was better with Cortex Command and Revenge of Titans, a couple of hidden indie gems

>Humble Actually Good Bundle
What the fug???

>I bought the very first Humble Indie Bundle for one cen
Why do people do this? Why do you have to be so mean?

eat cock

All of those books can be downloades for free at libgen

I'm vegetarian

FPBP. I stopped even checking the site. I bet it's another programming book bundle or bunch of pretentious 2d indie sidescrollers/adventure games.

Why put something really good in a bundle when you can sell it on your store? It seems like all the good shit is relegated to the humble monthly which they slowly dole out

Bendy would be the only thing I'd want.
For 5 bucks and some change, that ain't too bad.

Is this Humble Bundle version of Shantae Half Genie Hero the vanilla base or does it come with Ultimate Edition DLC?

Attached: cover.png (668x729, 532K)

Vanilla, unfortunately. With no way to upgrade it if you get this version.

Unexplored is pretty good. Got it with my Switch coins when it was cheap.

I hope I got a job by the end of this week, I'd like to buy it, I read it all, enjoyed it, feeling a bit guilty now having downloaded it....I wonder how the Rayner relationship will play out in the tv series.

>IGN jews baiting with the base version of Shantae
yikes
