Threads get derailed as soon as someone acts a fool and people don't get back to the topic at hand, it devolves into shit flinging too fast. You cannot remedy this issue unless you can force anons to take their Ritalin.

Its fine in little bits but I constantly have about 38 filteres threads a DAY and theyre mostly anime games or the average shitpost of an anime girl with "why havent you bought my game?"

In an argument, nobody wants to talk about the things they like, and will go to any length to avoid having to admit they like anything, because doing so would immediately show that they probably actually like the thing they're bitching about and would make it incredibly clear they're just trolling people.
Make responding to trolling a bannable offense. The trolls will ban evade, the people that actually want to talk need to eventually learn to not give these people the time of day.

Yes, ban everyone that makes a joke on Yea Forums, only serious game discussion threads allowed, soon enough you'll have less than 10 people posting here. No one can have serious discussions about games regularly, there's only so many games we can play and have an opinion about, and repeating no one wants to keep repeating the same opinions everyday. Most people come here to shitpost and have fun, but when they see a thread about a game they care, they will have a serious discussion. Shitposts don't kill serious discussions, it makes more people come here regularly. If there are more people on the website, it means that there are more chances of when you make a serious thread, someone that cares for the game you're talking about see it and reply to it. Try making a thread about an obscure game here, the thread will get some replies, and then die. Try making a thread about an obscure album on Yea Forums, the thread will take 5 hours to get archived and will get no replies.

I wish people would stop talking about e-celebs and streamers. Also, all the /pol/tards should leave.

I said shitposting is not killing serious discussions, it's making people want to come back here everyday and there will be no one to talk to if people don't come here often. I only started coming here because it's a fast board and it's better for shitpost, I didn't even play games that much. As a consequence, now found out a bunch of games I would never have played, and I have a ton of games to play on my backlog, I make a bunch of threads about the games I'm playing and recommend them to other anons (you probably seen some vagrant story threads recently). If you want 100% serious discussions all the times you can go to r/videogames, make a thread about a game you like and check the next day if you got any replies
