Do you think we'll get another real Wild Arms game now that Kaneko's done with Symphogear?

I know this game is not that great when it comes to JRPGs and the gameplay is actually kinda basic but man I sure do love this game, the music, the characters and the whole setting made up for the oversimplified gameplay.

the first wild arms would unironically work well as an action jrpg
>giant robot battles
>aircraft battles
>ship battles

it's still harder than FFVII and requires some resource management instead of going all out everytime

it's not good

the story also feels kinda serious and less anime than most jrpgs

Its been ages but I remember this game having an eggregious amount of random battles compared to other jrpgs. Am I remembering this right?

Wild Arms games are very anime. Kaneko's just a great writer.

>best OST
>doesnt post best song

The fucks wrong with you OP

the later games more than the first one
the first one is literally hitler demons exterminating humans and magic jews for living space

Quake 2
American McGees Alice
Halo

That's anime as fuck mate.

I like how the villains are done in Wild ARMs 1 since the goal for most of them is actually justified since Zeikfried just wanted to have a new planet for his race to flourish after his home planet being destroyed by Mother.

>Anime trash
have sex

yeah my problem with Wild Arms soundtrack is that much of its quality is bound up in that one track. The intro is one of my favorites but the rest is just ok.

I'll just leave this here

wow the western inspired JRPG pays a lot of homage to spaghetti western films of old, whod've thunk

Only played Wild Arms 3 and looking to play 1 and 2 now, but I wanna know if the remake of 1 is worth playing at all. Anyone mind filling me in

My biggest issue with Wild Arms OST is how much Michiko Naruke steals from MorriconeĀ“s scores. Is not inspired by, but he literaly lift cues from some of the most memorable movies of Morricone so it breaks the inmmersion.

It already got a remake

this

and this

are also really juicy

>homage to spaghetti western films of old
That's not what homage is, this one is a fucking copy.
It's still not plagiarism because it has to be a 1:1 copy.

>SupraDarky
based

The second game had a better OST

I remember playing the game, but dropped it a few hours in.
Do the gameplay and mechanics get better over time?

>tfw japanese games will never be this good

I am glad Noriyasu Agamatsu, the music composer for Wild Arms, is still making music:

he also does the music for Symphogear
