TF2 characters would actually be able to cross over pretty well with most franchises I think. They're very versatile, they can fit right in whether it's silly or serious, si-fi or fantasy, etc.
They're kind of like Scooby Doo or Hellboy in that respect.

Your moveset is based on Mario 64, complete with BLJ fuckery. You can hop into vehicles to drive like in Mario Kart. You also have FLUDD, which you can hover with and it also acts as your (water) gun, with shooting mechanics similar to Splatoon. You can play as Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi, with different movesets like in Mario 64 DS. The main city is based on both Toad Harbor from MK8 and Moonview Highway from MKWii, with other cities based on Shroom Ridge and Mushroom Bridge. Sarasaland exists as a neighboring country to the Mushroom Kingdom.
