YBR C28 2FG Finished my new Banjo Kazooie level. It is based on the world Mad Monster Mansion. You have to collect the ten multicoins while revisiting various places like the church, the maze in the garden the dining room of the mansion and more.
TH4 VC9 3JF This one is a comfy snow level based on the Banjo Kazooie world Freezeezy Peak. The jiggies are again multicoinsand you have to find all ten to finish the level.
S8K XV3 MYG Based on stephen kings IT. It takes place in the last chapter of the novel where you confront pennywise in the sewers. It has some platforming and an abstract kind of boss.
KHD CND VXF This level is manly vertical and you get chased by rising lava. It contains fast platforming, some puzzle segments and a bone boat ride.

Reposting these from the last thread >WFF-77W-MLF Easy level with multiple paths >CPP-W1Y-2PF Puzzle level where you fish with bob-ombs. >KVQ-5BN-V2G Airship level. Cramped and a bit spammy, I need to redo it but feel free to try it if you're bored

>Cometfall Peak I don't see any reason to have used low gravity night for this, it doesn't seem to really be designed around it and would've been far more enjoyable without the low gravity. Was fairly cramped in places and there were a couple situations where I had to sit and wait for a goomba to move just to I could kill it to progress
Jonathan Hill
If you start dashing and moving to the right after you use the last spring yes. But yeah i kinda fucked up there, maybe I'll replace the pipes with blue ones or I'll place a shroom before so you can get out of there alive

Posted this yesterday but might as well.
I recently finished the first world of my campaign. It's hard but very beatable. It's a collection of standard levels, each with its own theme and gimmicks, which combine into a final level that puts all yours skills to test.
The super-ball powerup is the absolute worst thing they added to SMM2. I'm glad I never bothered with playing the story mode to unlock it.
Jonathan Carter
I like it for the music, but every puzzle level using it is absolute cancer and a slog to play through due to having to wait for the ball to despawn before allowing you to throw another one. I've never played a level that used the powerup well at all.
Christopher Barnes

I'm not going to play ANY of your levels because you shilled so hard, all you need is 2 or 3 good courses. But you've ruined that, I will never play a level by Jenome.
Tyler Diaz
Cool, that sounds fucking awful, I'm not going to play it.
Evan Cooper
It's sad how bad shilling has gotten. I see guys feedbacking my levels here only for it to be for the sole purpose of linking their own levels at the end of their post. Wanna play my level? 1VG-RS3-56G
Joke's on you, I played your level and enjoyed it. Fucking gottem!
Jose Cook
Shamelessly copy/pasting from last thread. I haven't had much luck here the last few threads, and my newest levels just have a few plays apiece. Are they bad? Boring? Too difficult? Your feedback would be hugely appreciated. I'll only post the newest few levels below, but feel free to check out all of my stuff.
LEVELS: >Mirror Cave >338-Q81-1QF Straightforward platforming level. At first. Surprise twist in the second half of the level to hopefully spice things up. >Mario Takes a Chill Stroll >KQG-XMX-H0H Just a chill stroll through the wintry mushroom kingdom. No need for any jumping around! >Shellcoin Woods >RKQ-BHH-HHG Collect all of the coins with the help of a red koopa shell. Tricky jumps, throws, and bounces. Precision puzzle platforming. Only one clear, so help me out, anons. >The Sunken Submarine >1SR-L7T-V9G Tricky platforming level. Explore the inner workings of a sunken submarine. Heavily thematic. >The Tower of Bowbel >M9F-TVS-5JG Vertical level where you start at the bottom and have to scale your way to the top. Some tricky bits of platforming and a mandatory boss at the end. Relatively short to make retries after falls less painful.
Gimmick: Long Chomp Romp: DXS-HFH-KFF Thwomp Desert - 7NT-PHW-3DG Uno Mas: Freeze!: QCK-7Q9-CLG Spooky Scrolling: KCG-5N2-0RG

Why are you just assuming that I make my levels based around a specific concept?
Brayden Bailey
Because otherwise its probably a bad or boring level worthy of an alliterative name.
Carter Bell
Time to shill my most recent course from last night
MY7-39Y-LRF
Squids have taken over the skies. One rainy night you decide you've had enough and that it is now time for the squidpocalypse. Hard-ish course in which you jump on bloopers to reach the next safe platform. Janky miniboss and checkpoints included.
my levels mostly have alliterative names but I come up with the name after the level is already done.
John Butler
>Mirror cave Nice little level with a cool twist on having to not only do the level backwards, but also on the ceiling. I will say I feel there is an over reliance on Pipes and Piranha Plants, amd the checkpoints are pretty lopsided, being at the very start and very end, may as well be none in the first place. Have a like.
That makes no sense. I make my levels first, THEN decide on a name for them. And if you can find a fitting name that is also an alliteration, that's extra nice.
Dominic Lewis
>makes airship level with no initial concept >ehh I'll just call it "airship assault" generic names for generic levels

Jack Martinez
It's literally how Mario level names work.
Parker Powell
Montyclaw Forest >B34-75P-JSF Standard Mario Bros 1 level themed around Monty Moles and swinging claws
Nicholas Price
you're overthinking it, also like said, most mario levels do it.
Ryan Richardson
So platforming levels are apparently bad and only levels with gimmicks are good then?
Christian Morris
It literally isn't. Oh yeah 1-2 great alliteration.
Parker Price
Thanks, user. Glad to hear you liked the gimmick!
Tyler Williams
I need some Toadette lewds
Luke Foster
Donut Plains 1 is my favorite alliteration.
Jonathan Jones
concept =/= gimmick >make shitty underground level with moles with little thought >literally nothing in the level is notable because there was no initial idea >just calls it "mole mountain" genius
Ethan Johnson
Mario course names aren't always alliterations, but quite often. And they're almost always either 2 or 3 words.
Post your levels. Really curious now what kind of genius stuff you must be making to call everyone else's "generic" stuff shit.
Jacob Brooks
And they are all forgettable names
Blake Reed
Does playing other people's courses require the membership? Gonna buy the game tonight and was wondering if I should just buy the $70 one that gives the year membership included
Joseph Adams
>so I can boo you for not liking my shitty level names
Nathan Martin
What kind of retard would come up with a name first and then build a course around that name instead of the other way around?
Evan Powell
What would you say is a good name for a level with moles then "Moles epic revenge"?
Leo Cruz
Expected as much. You're a moronic shitposter and coward who's probably salty no one is liking his garbage and is now taking it out on the thread by shitting it up.
John Hall
You guys realise that the same person saying random levels were awful or booing is now talking shit about level names.
Jordan Bell
Mario shouldn't be handling super glue. Just look at him. What a fuck up.
Dylan Taylor
Yes. Get the $70 bundle.

Matthew White
>I have autism and alliterations trigger me! >A-also people t-totally love my stages! I'm very popular!
Jayden Clark
my point is that >stage with moles is not a remotely interesting idea so of course thinking up a non shitty name is hard. Its why calling it "mole mountain" is an indicator that it is uninspired shit.
t. has a stage called airship attack post your level codes and prove that you're not a coward :)
Ryan Howard
>Make a level with jumps IS THERE NO END TO THE FAGGINESS OF MARIO POSTERS????
Gabriel Bennett
You'll from now on be known as "Autistic user". Do you like your name?
Adrian Davis
traditional levels can have an idea behind it that isn't just "terrain with bad guys on it"
Aaron Nguyen
Volcanic Journey (int/hard) RX9-P3M-WBG
Dual Tube Dash (easy/int) QTV-LW7-W0H
Red Yoshi Prison Break (int) YSQ-3NX-VWG
Benjamin Cox
What I don't understand is how it being an alliteration automatically makes it uninspired. So if my level is called "Forsaken Forest" it's bad, but if it's called "Mario's Forest Adventure" it suddenly good?
Lincoln Kelly
>he didn't post any level code pathetic
Brandon Baker
Just because he said it's a stage around moles doesn't mean it's literally flat ground with some moles in it, Autistic user.
Matthew James
Lads, has anyone the level code for that 1-1 level that was on reverse? I want to share it with a friend but i'm not at home right now Have a spoopy for the troubles
stop browsing Yea Forums man. it is really bad for your self-esteem.
are you in decent shape? if not, start by running 1km per day and working your way up. then, work in some strength exercises like weightlifting or yoga. if so, join an intramural team or some kind of group sport.
Liam Johnson
obviously you're supposed to call it Donut Plains 4, it's the most SOUL name you can use afterall.
Jace Kelly
Both are dull and forgettable
Mason Collins
He's autistic. Like, literally textbook defition autistic with some OCD to boot. Just ignore him. Seeing alliterations triggers something in him.
Blake Flores
>The sunken submarine Another nice level, gave me flash backs to the Rusty Bucket Bay Engine Room from Banjo Kazooie. I found it kind of hard to navigate the level in a couple of spots, there was no indication where I needed to go, and with a level that goes in a lot of different directions you need some help with that. Just after the Cheep Cheep pipe, it took me a moment to realise that I could walk on the Background layer, some coins would have helped a bit I think. Then in the section with the Clown Helicopter, I initially went to the right, which had nothing and I got stuck bumping off the ceiling and the red switch blocks. And finally on my initial run I missed the key entirely, I didnt know I needed one or where I could find it, having to start the level over. The level had a nice amount of challenge, but a bit of guidance could go a long way. Another like.
>terrain >literally flat ground at least try to read
Connor Morgan
What are some good names, Autistic user? Indulge us.
Parker Hall
>textbook definition of autism / OCD >literally not if you're going to insult someone at least don't do it in a way that makes you look dumb
Connor Wright
Literally yes. You fit both perfectly.

>Airship Assault >Goomba Greens >Fortress of Fire >Mushroom Madness >Cheep Cheep Challenge very memorable stuff pls like and follow
Thomas Flores
I'm sorry I think you are confused. I asked for you to give us some names you consider good and acceptable.
Lucas Stewart
not yours :)
Landon Watson
So you literally can't give any examples of what you consider acceptable names? What is wrong with you?
Joshua Hernandez
Autistic user
Jacob Myers
I can but you are clearly angered and would irrationally pull apart anything I would say.
Nathaniel Richardson
I just want to know what you find acceptable, but you refuse to answer. You have serious mental issues.
Aaron Torres
followed you for you really cool memorable course "cheep cheep caverns"
Nolan Russell
Read my previous posts and use your imagination if you have one
Isaiah Miller
Maybe you could try it before writing it off?
Daniel Howard
Nah I'm done with you, colossal waste of time. Good job shitting up the thread though, you accomplished that much.
Ethan Johnson
>angry user never posted a code to his cool alliterative levels so disappointing
Joshua Howard
Cool level, well stylised and themed. There were a couple of bullshit deaths, mainly in the starting area with the enemy placement and hooks, and the final part was a bit cluttered, but it was still a pretty good stage. Like.
That's my only regret, I got too excited at the end. To be fair I did put a mushroom by the last checkpoint. While we don't gotta be bound by the original games, I still put a staircase at the end cause you should never underestimate how good it makes a player feel to see those hard blocks and they go "Oh shit that's the end! Yes!" Also, I wish I used the fire flower in some way, how did I miss the fact that fireballs light up pathways? Can't really kill any of the enemies, but at least you'd see those dry bones better. Thanks, man. I'll try to make another course soon but I ain't got a clue what the fuck to do next.
>angry user is that the best you could come up with? shitty alliteration, get some creativity already.
Asher Gonzalez
exactly :)
Daniel Rivera
Shared my level on other communities and they say it's too hard. What has happened to Mario players? Did they never played SMW? Have we become accustomed to our levels? Are we here just to suffer?
my courses have nearly 2000 plays each and hundreds of likes. I'm in the top 300 makers in the world. The name of your course barely matters, it's the quality of how it plays that's important and whether the actual level design of it was memorable.
Jonathan Wright
>whether the actual level design of it was memorable Thats kind of my point. When people struggle to find a name for their course its because there is nothing notable about it so just call it "airship assault". A good course will usually have at least a serviceable name because there was actual soul put into it and is interesting and memorable enough to easily think of a good name.
Leo Walker
sometimes there isn't a good way to describe a level in 32 characters or less, even if you made some kind of masterpiece there's ultimately only so many different titles you can give a level before it blends with the millions of others already out there.
Angel Diaz
Remade the same WiiU level in Switch, why does it appear more zoomed in on Switch? I have piranha plants later in the level at the bottom of the screen, except they don't appear on Switch because they are off-screen.
Sure but alliterative names are the most forgettable. If you made a masterpiece and called it something absolutely banal like "koopa hills" I would wonder what the fuck you were doing, alliteraive names are just the same.
Ryder Cooper
Good points, user. I'll consider that from now on. Glad you liked it overall!
Jonathan Gonzalez
Put some more time and thought into your level design and try to stick with a theme of some sort. It looks as if you threw a bunch of random assets together and called it a day.
Wyatt Thompson
an alliterative name is better than the even more generic name example you just posted. Koopa Cave for example would be more memorable than Koopa Hills. What names would you suggest, anyway? Give examples of an actual good level name.
Christian Russell
did you place blocks above the horizon line? that'd cause it to scroll up rather than lock the camera at the bottom half of the screen.
Liam Allen
Stop replying to him.
Jacob Anderson
sonygroes are downvoting the game on metacritic. it's over nintenbros. we lost
Blake Bell
Its hard to give a good level name without seeing the level.
Elijah Cooper
then give an example of a good level name you've seen before, can be from mario maker or any mario game. Hell, I'd even take a level name from any platformer really.
Gavin Anderson
>I'd even take a level name from any platformer really. [Donkey kong intensifies]
Elijah Roberts
I thought maybe that was it but I'm sure I triple checked. I will check again though.
Charles Diaz
>Ropey Rampage >Reptile Rumble >Coral Capers >Winky's Walkway >Cart Carnage >Bouncy Bonanza >Tree Top Town >Barrel Blast >Minecart Madness >Pirate Panic >Hot-Head Hop >Red-Hot Ride >Squawk's Shaft >Haunted Hall >Jungle Japes I can easily go on and on here, almost all DK levels use allitration and consist of 2 or 3 words.

Mario & the Seven Ghostly Coins I made a ghost house that you have to explore and find the seven coins in to advance. The puzzles and obstacles aren't too hard or bullshit, so it should be a chill time. Also made sure that there's no hard fail states. >FGK-3CW-MPG
Andrew Howard
Has Super Mario Vs Mecha Bowzilla been ported to MM2?
Aaron Jones
>Too hard I don't get how spin jumping on a few thwomps is too hard for them
Cooper Young
Something that conveys a sense of adventure >Journey to the Temple of Bones >Search for the Sunken Castle >The Pit of Zun >Reflections of a Mountain
Ryan Myers
However, "The Zit of Zun" would be bad because alliterations.
Connor Myers
correct. just like "the Pit of Potaboos"
Brayden Hughes
Project SMB3:
I am making 8 worlds with around 6-10 traditional stages in each world. All stages have atleast 1 pink coin to find, most stages have several and some of them are very hard to find. Difficulty of these levels is like 2/5 since it's world 1 but the coins can be tricky. Can Yea Forums find all the hidden coins?
These levels are in standard SMB3 fashion, no boss, gizmo, or puzzle spamming.
World 1:
1-1 New beginnings WFY-YDL-T1H
1-2 Buzzy Problems 3FM-9SF-DQG
1-3 Tasty platforms YDN-KDT-GHF
1-4 Fish in the sky YJ0-G2V-J0G
1-[F] A kind start C11-8J6 -PTF
1-5 Summer nights MH8-98V-V1H
1-[G] Dark ambition 3KM-25R-MHF
1-6 Going down! PSV-46K-XGF
All feedback welcome, if you want me to try your levels and give a like, let me know.
Thanks to everyone who has already played my levels, I try to play yours too, if I missed you please let me know!
Mason Robinson
with the exception of maybe the first one, these names don't convey what the level actually involves in terms of platforming gameplay. They sound more like film or TV show titles than the name of a platforming level. There's a reason most platforming games just have names of obstacles/enemies the level contains. Adding alliteration is just a way to sound make them sound more fun/silly.
Ian Cooper
What game are those from? Those sound like book names.
Jose Howard
The first one conveys that there will be dry bones or fish and probably has an above ground journey to it. The second one conveys that its a water level possibly with a castle segment. The third one I have no idea desu. The fourth one a reflection gimmick with underground theme.
Luis Sanchez
Mario maker level names I saw while browsing a minute ago
Xavier Barnes
can u change the start area with the arrow in any way?
Christian Sanchez
Level names don't have to tell you a story. We now have descriptions. Put whatever you want to tell people there. >mfw seeing level names like "FAST AUTOSCROLL, USE DOWN IN DRYBONES"
Just put that in your description and name the course something nice like Lavish in Lava, Perilous Piranha Pipes or Jungle Jamboree
:^)
Asher Long
7YD -LV2-QYF My first attempt at a level. I enjoyed making it but it’s going to take a lot of practice to make something really worthwhile I can tell.
Joseph Long
>tfw kind of agree with autistic alliteration user
Zachary Thomas
the theme/setting does not indicate what the actual gameplay is (i.e. what obstacles/enemies will be there); again, the only one where you can make a good educated guess at it is the first one.
Congratulations, you are the Assistant Autistic Alliteration user Do alliterations literally haunt you in your sleep? >No.. don't call it Chilly Cave.. no NO NOOO ANYTHING ELSE CALL IT FROSTY CAVE OR WINTER CAVE PLEASE NOOOOOOO
Owen Jones
Half of the alliterative titles don't either though. Like "Snowy Sierra", "Airship Assault" etc which just tell you the theme.
Chase Flores
It's a nice idea but I feel like it ended very quickly. You should take this idea further and expand upon it, unless you were making it very short on purpose.
Xavier Morgan
those are examples of bad alliterative titles then, some good ones would be more like these
Leo Ortiz
What's wrong with that? Why does the level name have to tell me about everything I'll encounter? >Snowy Sierra makes me think I'll play a winter stage and that's enough >Airship Assault makes me assume someone built actual airship-looking things and that is enough as well
What more do I need? There's always descriptions if you want to put in some meta info or advice for people.
Angel Howard
Thanks. I stuck with the default length just to try making a level and see what happened. I’ll probably make a second version that’s more polished and longer.
Thomas Bailey
Why is Airship Assault bad but Reptile Rumble or Barrel Blast good? I don't get it.
Colton Hughes
>Reptile Rumble or Barrel Blast good they clue you in on what obstacles/mechanics the level involves
Owen Brooks
I beat easy, and hard. However I found normal too difficult.
Isaiah King
Ok, so the level name needs to tell you about the enemy or mechanic in it and should not tell you about the theme?
I disagree.
Nicholas Walker
The level name should be something that vaguely describes the level. Nobody really gives a shit about the name of the level as long it's not misleading.
Jayden Sullivan
>and should not tell you about the theme I never said that, in fact ideally it should do both.
Matthew Morales
If you actually read the argument thats exactly my point
Levi Long
You can put things like "This is a wall jump focused stage" in the description. No need to put it in the level name.
Dylan Hill
I think most of those "good" names are forgettable and tell you just a little as the ones I listed. Like "jungle japes" tells you nothing except the theme and cart carnage just tells you its a cart gimmick level.
Grayson Clark
Lol just came across an upside down level where you had to ride a snake block. Autoscroll though.
Fucking hell.
Jose Perez
What are some Makers that aren't very popular but make some straight up kino levels? I want to support them

Me, but I will pretend it's not me.
Eli Jones

Gabriel Lewis
Or well not exactly kino, but stuff that is worth my time?

Every thread there is one jealous Nintendo-less troll angry at all of us having fun playing each others' levels. Each time they try different tactics, like doing baby talk to mock Mario fans, and each time they've been ignored. Until now. Stop replying to that overly critical faggot and let his words die alone. world 9-11 banned, probably the first ever SSM2 banned level but everything they ban will back with a full force
you could at least have made it an actual playable level instead of "AAHHHH" sound fx spam still made me kek admittedly
Jacob Johnson
They've already added some to the thread, but you gotta play some to find out who some people have solid game design here but some don't know how to recognise and praise that
Dominic Young
What about that JFK tribute level?
James Perez
The first game came out on 9/11 so when the first year anniversary came about there was a thead that popped up with people making obligatory themed levels titled "anniversary" Probably the last MM1 level sharing thread I saw actually.

I mean, I try to see it from their perspective. So I understand "haha I put all Bowsers and a million koopas in front of the pole!".
But there's so many other really puzzling things that I just don't get.
Well obviously probably no one since being the best is up to opinion

I'm close to done with my dark water level. Not sure how I feel about it but I hope to finish it tonight and just play a bunch of levels posted here afterward. Anyway, I have seven stages. Here are three:
Soles of the Departed C80-VJX-WJG The first of a trilogy with goomba shoes in perilous situations.
Defeat the Fleet 8D1-MTQ-HJG Airship night level with bombs and a (hopefully) fun albeit fairly easy Bowser fight.
The Fall of K-2L WMJ-T66-41G A level themed after the Space Pirate raid of Samus Aran's mining home colony.
Jackson Lee
Yeah, seems that's the general thinking, medium is a rather tedious task that becomes harder than hard

I don't know, I used to all sorts of autistic shit when I was a kid. Like when I wanted to show something cool and overly complicated to someone else but had a difficulty expressing anything remotely intelligent.

>Try to recreate Champion's Road from 3D world >do pretty well for the first half >the second half is completely unfeasible due to the limitations and stuff that's straight up excluded from this game
I'll play all the levels of anyone that manages to beat this level:
Merry Maze of Eternal Happiness P69-6PY-66G
Unlike some people in the previous thread claimed, this level does not require any kaizo tricks to beat. All the problems have relatively easy solutions, you just have to be creative with the way you use items.
***NEW LEVEL*** >Luigi's Spooky Jungle Fun Time 56T-N91-JVG
Older levels: >Basically The Plot Of Space Jam BTM-JG6-12G >Mario Crawls Inside Dead Turtles G54-KGR-Y1H >Stay Frosty X0N-XB2-NCG >Buzzy Beetle Rescue 2H2-S03-30H
>Mario vs. Murphy's Law I gave up after the last switch, sorry. I liked it. Pretty interesting idea. >New beginnings Played this one. I always enjoy seeing people take the time to actually make use of turtle shells in their design. Thought this was going to be a nightmare, but after playing yesterday I was kind of like "meh this is fine." Spike wall kind of seems like bullshit with no warning, though.
Memory Mansion: 1QN-74N-JMG Run Like the Wind!: MPH-1MJ-JTG
I'll have another one finished by tonight, hopefully.

Nice one man, played your most recent course. Although I'm not sure why it is called Luigi's, since I played as based Toadette of course. Really liked the giant tower of Boos with the alcoves to hide in.
Blake Bell
I'm here, I'm really sorry I disappointed you. I'm creating something that will make up for it and it'll be out today. I've spent 30 hours on it over 10 days and played so much of it; I've got it down to where every inch of the level is 100% deliberate in what it does. 30 hours were needed because it's a 3D World level that fills up two screens completely and uses (almost) every mechanic in the game in the level at least once. It's an exploration level I guess? There are like 1200 coins but you only need 500, you can pretty much just run through the level in like 50 different ways.. I've enjoyed testing it because you just go where the wind takes you. Once you get to the end too or find a secret the level becomes a lot more open -- blocks you can break and doors that make the map pretty open ended and of course if you make it to these doors in reverse you get to the end early which will probably be one of the faster ways to clear. I really hope you enjoy it, look for 4 hours from now.
Yeah. . I wish I could tell people that you can consistently clear it without losing. Not without taking damage, but without losing. Again, it's a VERY deliberately designed level.
Jaxson Butler
Don't worry much about it. Not everyone can like every level you make. Some levels you just know will only appeal to a niche audience and that can be okay too.
I find this hilarious because all my old courses from MM1 used alliteration. I'm actually planning on remaking them so I guess Alliteration user is going to be in shit shambles once I do. Never knew someone could be so autistic about level names. Never play Sonic CD or DK I guess, you might just have an autism aneurysm.
I know but forget that, you want everyone to like what you create because it's literally you that you're putting out there if you're like me. Thank you, though.
I'm at #5000 easy.. easy is great you come across the best levels outside of normal.

I want to make a level inspired by this youtu.be/ofZMQMKDoCk?t=223 but I'm having trouble getting the poison mushroom to properly give Mario the key. When it bounces on a note block it doesnt seem to drop the key properly. Any ideas on how to fix this? In the video he's on a classic Mario theme, and I'm building in SMBU. Could that be it?
Probably too lazy to face the hardships of their level. When i faced trouble uploading my level i also started adding different stuff to make some parts a lot faster to go through, although also a lot riskier.
Robert Moore

New course, I put a lot of effort in this one. It takes place in mostly 2 screens where you solve puzzles back to back to open the way forward. I tried to give it a comfy atmosphere also. Any feedback is appreciated and I hope you enjoy. Take it slow.
Check out some of my other levels in my profile also. Potted ghost and mario the psychopath especially.
Camden Lewis
fucking hell I wrote that like I had a stroke. I was asking how high on the leaderboard do you need to be to get gold/silver/bronze medals.
Oliver Clark
Hmm I think for things like WRs and first clears it's 300 for a normal bronze For maker points alltime it should be 5k
Benjamin Rogers
Da fuck? Well that's annoying.
William Howard
Would my level get taken down if it's called Mario: Bomb Squad and he's trying to defuse a bomb in 30 seconds before it explodes?
Add a key door to your level. The keys just kind of fall away if there's no need for them.
Chase Nelson
I give up. I'm too much of a brainlet for this one.

Been a while since I shilled my levels, made a new one too
>NEW: Hammerspace 5SV-SRL-KMG A level demonstrating some things you can do with the Hammer powerup. Also has an optional challenge for some lives that I deemed too finicky for the main path. >Seesew Sawer BPF-WKJ-VVF A level based on weighing down seesaws and SMB1 enemies. My most popular level. >Cut Man Stage JVX-LWB-8DF A recreation of Cut Man from Mega Man's stage. It isn't perfect but I think I did a nice job getting it to look as similar to the original as possible. >Shroom Swinger RXP-RF9-TYF Based on NSMB mushroom levels and uses lots of swinging claws. >Downward Clownworld RQ0-69H-W1H Uses some interesting 3D World exclusive elements. It's a decent enough stage for being the first I made.
I figured it out. Apparently if it's trapped in a note block like in that video, it doesn't actually come out of the note block unless you're closer to the block than I was. idk how he can trigger it consistently from off screen like that, but oh well.
Charles Mitchell
Am I missing something? Do I just hope for the best or can I influence it? Literally took me three and a half minutes.

This course is based on one of my favorite games in my late teens: Final Fantasy XI Online. It had a lot of great places to explore, and the story telling was top-notch. One set of zonez in particular though: the few versions of Promyvion, struck at me, as it was creepy in all the right ways. This level aims to recapture the trek through it for the first time, with monsters, checkpoints in form of mini-bosses, and scares along the way as if you were desperately trying to avoid high level monsters back in the original game itself. Custom boss included.
This is: Promyvion - Mush - MPW-WH7-HRG ...and my first Mario Maker level ever. I spent like 6 hours on this one.
What kinda bullshit's that? Every player has to grind to even get good at Mario in the first place, by beatin the regular games. These courses are designed in such a way where there's another steep learning curve.
Nathaniel Martin
My stages
My first one is a multiplayer based on smash; I really couldn't think of a good one. 6FQ-C4AP-YMF
Second level is similar as the first but a single player multi man melee using the goombrats JOP-9FS-LNG
My third level is a simple level where you swim tried to make a Jaws-like level with suspense S0R-3Y8-52H
My fourth level is a sky battle where you fly around and destroy other ships culminating in a final battle against bowser and bowser jr there is a way to defeat bowser without fireing a shot V72-C3Y-7LG
Two new courses that are basically the same but one is objective based while the other is not. Obstacle course WCJ-FWB-PGG Oobstacle course with checkpoint PN8-0GS-GRF Would like feed back on the obstacle course because it feels like it might've been too hard....idk
Noah James
hardcore XI player here. I hated the promy zones, but i'll try your stage out user :)
Carter Thompson
Does anyone have some half decent kaizo levels?
Leo Bennett
I quit shortly after trying to open the locked door with the key I got from the checkpoint. I tried to place the P switch on a spring so I could P-switch jump on it with the pow block in hand to reach the top, but I couldn't pull that off.
Logan Carter
No, but anybody can get good at level if they grind it enough. Trihex is still better than average player due to developing his entire existance to Kaizo Mario Maker, but just like he never managed to become the best at Yoshi's Island, he will never hold a candle to people who are simply better than him at games without dedicating nearly as much time to them. Not that's there's anything wrong with that, everybody has their own lane. Trihex is more charismatic than 95% of Kaizo players, and thanks to that signifigantly more succesful. And despite being fake-ass anime nerd, he still has managed to position himself as one among his audience that is composed of even bigger plebs than he is.
Jaxon Jackson
You see this? You see the absurd detail and quality of the textures in these renders? This makes my dick rock fucking hard. Why can't everyone make renders this goddamn gorgeous?
trihex has always been a shitter, i remember clicking into his stream back at some GDQ because he was so overhyped as a yoshis island runner. he makes retarded movements with his hands on the controller like he is a badass but fucks up constantly, missing egg shots and taking damage. got hit by 2nd hand cringe hard
Carter Hill
>due to developing his entire existance Dedicating, fuck. But yeah, my point is that while Trihex is good, he's not the best, but he's certainly the most succesful.
Dylan Ramirez
What secondhand? You're the one that cringed, not him.
Easton Rogers
Yeah, he tries really hard to be stylish and swag in his gameplay, but that showing off ended up costing him so many record attempts compared to other runners who were playing the game. Again, I can't fault him since that's his brand that has made him relatively famous and succesful, but that doesn't mean I don't find his shittery annoying, like those fucking waifu-emoticons.
Luis Hughes
I remember watching him choke live at GDQ He was based for btfoing that gayboy though

>The 10 Treasure Tangle (SM3DW) "Traverse the treacherous trees and tunnels to take the ten treasures!"

One path, find and collect the 10 purple coins. In order to address potential soft locking I had to interconnect a lot of the level, but it made it more interesting in my opinion. (Jungle/Jungle)

Looking for some advice on how to improve, please let me know what you liked and what you hated. I got some good advice last thread so I'm using it to really improve my next one, could always use more though.
Bit Crusade 3 is an adventure series of Mario levels that play in the traditional sense (scaling difficulty, hidden rooms and level theming). So if you like traditional Mario stages you’ll probably like these. The “game” will eventually utilize all 5 styles so there’s a little something for everyone. Every stage has five red coins hidden within that unlock a super bonus room at the end.
Starting point is here: 1-1: Start of a New Journey V61-WT5-DPG
Most recent stage: 2-4: Koopa Bros. Unite! 1VQ-3SK-FVF
Fight The Koopa cousins in their tower of power and mangle their malicious machines!
Feedback is appreciated and returned. If you got a really good level I’ll likely make a short webm of it to showcase it. If you decide to take the plunge and play them I hope you enjoy them.
At work atm but I always leave the tab open in my phone browser so I know whose stages to play first when I get out. World 3 coming soon.
The goal of the level is to keep the two POW-blocks airborne until all spinies are dead. If you play this level, reply with a code and ill give your level a shot.
John Howard
Swooced right in and grabbed Undead Parish, Icy Ascent and Goombas done stole mah flag.
Stardust mines was really cool. My only complaint is that sniper thwomp at the beginning. I get it's part of the puzzle but even a few coins of warning would be nice.
Your second level gave a headache, couldn't even bring myself to finish it.
Jonathan Walker

Thank you based user

I want SMB3 powerups, nintendo needs to give people a reason to make levels in that style.
Joshua Long
Shilling Air raid by dark again. First half is a day theme sky level, second half is a night theme'd airship. Both are autoscroll, first half is a rising and falling autoscroll. It's a long stage, the shortest time I have on it is 3 minutes, most people complete it in 4. Prepare yourself.

Good level like always. The boss rooms were a bit too cluttered though. I would appreciate is gave this level a spin:
Midnight Juggler T81-0JT-4LF
I also recently made this puzzle level:

It's rather long and difficult, so don't feel pressured to complete it.

You should have the fireflower spawn from a pipe, and you really should delete the icicle. Otherwise it's a very cute little puzzle. If you are into puzzles you should check out
Merry Maze of Eternal Happiness P69-6PY-66G
It's quite long and difficult though.
Aiden Butler
Good fun :)

Can you save this faggotry for discord
Brody Sanders
not really I just google "mario maker renders" and use the high resolution tool
Jayden Gonzalez
I can give those a shot when I get home, though it won’t be for a few more hours.
Thanks for playing mine! The rooms are a little cluttered if you let the bombs and shoe goombas build up without killing them yeah, I blame the blue pipes still being pretty fast even though they’re supposedly the slow spawners. It was either that or having to wait for them to appear so it was the lesser of two evils. At least the way it is you don’t have to just stand and wait you can kill them or kick them around as the machines blow up. The initial version had even more to the point of the game slowing down, So what you played was the cutback version.
Benjamin Fisher
all three are good but fuck snekky sneks
Cooper Thompson
YOU FUCKER. Hahaha, congrats, man. I'm really gonna have to think about the best route for the goomba one.

Joseph Perry
Thanks, I was debating to myself if I should delete the icicle or not while making it, in the end I figured I wanted people to take it slow, but players are unpredictable so I cant really control them.
I will check your level, I played some of your other ones, they were all very fun but fuck I gave up on the 998 coins

Michael Myers
>same goes to people who try to find them out instead of playing the level If someone cheated to get their poorly designed level published then they should be outed

>Skeleton raft physics have changed No they havent
Jacob Reed
Yeah. You're right. I mean after all, we're talking about Mario, who is Nintendo's mascot, so it makes sense that they would want him to look as good as they can. I'm just salty about how the new Pokemon games look like ps2 graphics :
Anthony Flores
This might just be me, but a level in 3D world and seeing that I have to collect a lot of coins immediately makes me less willing to put the time in to finish it. I usually hate it when I'm forced to use the car, however I liked how it wasn't necessary and I also liked how you need to go back to the beginning and switch between the builder and cat outfit. Some of the places where you hid the coins were also neat. To be honest, I feel like it's just the leght that kills it. However that's just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.
Sebastian Diaz
I'm thinking about calling one of my levels Tenosynovitis. Is that too insensitive?

milly! makes good levels, but they are pretty difficult. Great concepts though. And very great themes.
snek makes some levels I personally enjoy
Arixorath makes some traditional smb3 levels but they are only smb3 afaik. If hidden coins is your thing give them a try, he hides them well. Without collecting them the stages are pretty smb3 like and barebone if that's your thing.

will you play my bath water level?

mario is too high IQ for girls to play
Angel Cruz
Just remade one of my levels to switch some of the platforms to winged ones and added some checkpoints which was a complaint before.
Thoughts? T8W TGY XYF

Frozen Depths, a dark underwater level with an ice theme. Might do a sequel if this one gets enough positive feedback. R5N-2XS-PMF
Colton Foster
Still valuable input thank you, I think if I include coins again in a future level I'll use far less. I was doing that thing that people do when they try something new for the first time then overdo it.
Jason Morris
I remember this guy who made laughably easy but fun Sunshine remakes forgot his name though [spoiler/]
Luke Lee
It's decent

BRAND NEW LEVEL DROPPING ______________________________
THE LEGEND OF ICE-COLD KEEP C72-YPY-RHF
>Ancient stories speak of a lost power, a weapon once common in a distant land, forgotten to the sands of time. The legends say that this power can still be found in a fortress-prison, built to contain a vengeful monster. >Are they just stories, or is there truth to the tales?
My first attempt a Metroidvania Mario level, as much as is possible, with inter-linked routes that can be tackled in various orders. You don't have to complete every area to progress to the "boss fight" puzzle, but you must collect at least one key. One key is hidden in the dungeon, another in a high tower, and a third can be reclaimed from the two red coins, hidden high and low. I have high hopes for Yea Forums to be able to clear this level, but it's not an auto level and it doesn't have any memes, so I'm not sure.
PREVIOUS LEVEL ____________ MAYHEM AT MUSHROOM MINING INC. Q56-TKK-NJF PUZZLE / THEMED ________________________________
>Disaster! >Mario receives a panicked call for help from the Mushroom Kingdom Mining Corporation, a cave-in has blocked the entrance to the mine. No-one is sure how many Toads are trapped inside, or how the cave-in happened. The workers on the surface don't seem to want to talk much about their work. Just what do they mine here anyway, and could it be linked to the Mushroom Kingdom's other Government-owned corporation, Regal Fungal Protein Products? SOFT-LOCK WARNING: Don't jump on the first conveyor belt until you're sure what you're doing...
Thwomp Swamp (test version) CF5-7QP-CWG Another easy Kaizo, only a single section, themed around thwomps. What I really would like feedback on is any cheesability in this level AND indicators. Was it unclear what to do? How could it be more clear?
btw both these levels are (pretty obviously) HEAVILY inspired by Super Quickie World, so if you're ever in doubt, just GOGOGO
I appreciate it, and yeah it's definitely not going to be to everyone's taste. In my defense it's not "super hard" kaizo, there's no precise jumps or frame-perfect tricks, and no trolls either, but what I like about "easy" kaizo is how well the sections flow into one another. It's tricky at first but once it "clicks" it becomes very satisfying to chain jumps together and feels good to pull off.
How far did you get lol
Logan Stewart
I didn't get past the pipe after the first goomba jump. I fell into the spikes before the pipe 5 times and died to the piranha plant 5 times and then I gave up. Kaizo isn't for me lol.
Isaiah Long
user how are u so cute
Julian Wright
Damn fair enough lol, sorry bout that m8 thanks for starring it anyway
Samuel Williams
I played both Marioware, and liked Twisted better like you
Ayden Davis
Can you guys give me levels that have no clears? Preferably because they're new and not because they're bullshit hard
