I will happily play you on TTT2, on T6 on even fucking T5:DRO if you like to this day user, but 7 is the most fun and functions the fastest and best. The stages could do for some touch up. I'd like to see more options in terms of BB, WB, and FB.

Tekken 7 is a predictable follow-up to a series that's never aimed particularly high, it may please casual gamers for a day or two but the stagnant ongoing series is definitely in the second tier of fighters way below Capcom or NetherRealm Studios games, and it's seriously getting old and tired. The lack of depth and subtlety and the emphasis on the offensive, rather than the defensive, puts this squarely two notches below the best in the genre, the "who-can-get-their-super-move-off-first" gameplay leaves much to be desired from a serious fighting game player. Like the prequels, Tekken 7 is geared towards casual gamers and anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, DoA and MK games have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.

SFV already majorly fucked up by being a mediocre game and getting a lot of people interested in Tekken. Tag 2 nearly killed the series and had like 200 entrants at Evo 2014 while SFIV pulled thousands and was a crowd favorite. SFIV still had 3 more years left in it but Capcom screwed up with their esports route. Just the thought that Tekken would be seriously competing with Street Fighter in entrance numbers and viewership was unthinkable a few years ago. Casuals don't like the game because of the complex tag mechanics and unforgiving combos. It also came out during an awkward time when SFIV was dominating and there wasn't really a demand for a new Tekken game.

T7 had to be made on a limited budget and with a cheaper engine because tag 2 disappointed commercially.

I have heard people expressing their issues with the campaign but is ironically the only way to see how the char. reacts with each other.

Another problem with the campaign that some char. have the same reaction like Bryan baiting people, Bob wanting to save Alisa, Leo bragging that some weak crates can kill him, Ganryu sumo lessons and etc.

I main eddy, and I can assure you he has a higher skill ceiling then 90% of the roster. Most eddys just spam F+circle or B+Circle. Which is so easily punishable. Ive rarely lost games playing as him and Im high in the brackets, Nigger
