Hopes/Predictions for the 3 DLC Packs?

I'm hoping they are:
Knights - Punisher, Shang Chi, Moon Knight, Blade (he technically is and isnt a knight but just put him in there dammit)
F4 - obviously the Fantastic 4 themselves, and then maybe Doom
X-Men - well since Beast, Cyclops, Colossus and Quicksilver all appear but arent playable i would assume them

Knights is really the only unknown, but Moon Knight, Punisher and Blade would be good. There's actually a portrait of the rest of the current X-men team in game, and if Professor X isn't playable it's probably mystique, as far as Xmen goes though the best picks would be Gambit or Rogue to replace Prof X.
It looks like the Expansion pass will be teams of 4 characters, which is roughly an additional 30% increase on the current roster, which is in line with it's cost of $20, I'd be very happy with 6 characters per pack and just have some villains jammed into the Marvel Knights as well as Silver Surfer along with Dr Doom packed into the Fantastic Four leaving us with 1 more slot for the Xmen, which would most probably end up with Cyclops, Colossus, Iceman, Beast, Jean Grey and maybe Gambit laid on top.
In order to even it out just giving us someting like Nova and Antman would be great.
I wonder if they will every try and give us the actual Ultimate Marvel Roster in one of these games, I seriously hope they go straight into a Direct Sequel and reuse all the character assets from this game and just slap another 40 characters onto the roster.
Even though it's missing a few the roster is stacked as fuck.

It´s not hard to get into. Literally any issue is a good entry point and they aways explain what was going on in the first page while pointing out what issues you should check out if you want to know more about it

Just give up on trying to get "caught up". There's a new writer change every month and every writer retcons something or changes a popular character to suit their style, then those changes get undone or wrote over a month later anyway.

The best way to get into Marvel comics is to just look up good runs and or writers for your favorite character and read those. Self contained runs are always better than the big crossover shit they pull anyway. The only crossovers I liked in recent years were Illuminati/Planet Hulk and World War Hulk.

Original MH Cyclops was basically just Richochet Blast all day every day. Plus backwards rolling everywhere because it was his fastest form of movement. Eventually they fixed him up to have a pretty broad array of blast options, plus the ability to summon X-Men allies to come in for one-off attacks.

I feel like Marvel are massively inderusing their IPs. That PS4 Spider-Man game was a big success. Why don't they have a Wolverine game? An Iron Man game? Or any other big super hero game?

I'm not really a big marvel fan but the game looks pretty fun. If I buy this game to play for one day with a bunch of friends and then maybe play it more with one other friend once in a while what sort of mileage can I expect?

Hard to say because we don't really know how long the campaign is, how many infinity trials there are, or how much of a change NG+ is. Based on the previous two games, you could expect about 10-13 hours for the campaign and another 10-20 for other content.

Carol is strong but the movies have really weird power levels. They toned down most peoples comic powers but made hers pretty close to the comics so she seems a lot stronger than she actually is in canon.

Doctor Strange in particular felt a lot weaker in the movies. Dude can do basically anything in the comics, writers can pull a new magic artifact that suits any situation out of their ass. He fights eldritch horrors and demons and shit and deals with things that are way above the average scope of The Avengers.

Teams won't matter to me since I plan on playing exclusively online.
