Hard mode: Spin-offs all have soul too.

Legend of Zelda. Devil May Cry.

>Devil May Cry
The soul died in the very first sequel, even if they got it back later.

Disgaea pretty much keeps its soul and charm for all the games, despite the mechanics in some of the games being more annoying than others.

I kind of agree but Re:Coded is pretty fucking soulless.

KH1 2 and 3 all keep soul but the rest don't

KH3 had absolutely zero soul

I guess you could say they filled DMC's dark soul with light

Attached: heh.jpg (600x600, 35K)

more like YOU have absolutely zero soul, kh3 was soulfull as fuck

Attached: True King Reclaim Your Heart.jpg (1240x720, 782K)

i like KH3 bro but this doesnt help your case since none of these are KH characters in a game yet

>yozora mentioned by name
>even appears in the game's secret ending
>verum rex mini game is one of the best if not the best mini game in kh3
come on user, that screenshot is entirely comprised of things that appeared in KH3

>dq11
>soul
Toriyama didn't design the characters and it shows.

Have you ever played Re:Coded? Story might be throwaway but it's the best and most balanced and fun implementation of the Command Deck system. All the gameplay shit like the chip system and debugging and speedrunning worlds was fun too.

>DMC garbage
Oh boy... Well... Technically you can't lose soul if you never had it in the first place so you're correct.

God damn i love Dragon Quest

Pokémon

That's absolutely bait

It's soul died as soon as it went 3D, maybe even before that

It's difficult to say this game has soul with that atrocious soundtrack

The soundtrack ruins it. It's the only game where I had to mute the music to stop myself from going insane.

Post more

Pokemon lost its soul at ruby and sapphire

Ys (no I don't give a fuck if Oath was your first game)
Zelda

I'll do you one better and not get banned again by just telling you the name of the doujin: injuu double impact

Quintet's Heaven and "Earth Trilogy" (Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma).

I know, I just want more of those faces

SMT has 5 games in the main series, all have soul. Pretty much all spin-off games have soul too.

I have no more :(

should i bother finishing 11 on the pc before i get 11s for the switch? is there any info on whats new?

They put the 3DS's 16 bit mode on the switch.

There's a bunch that's new

I wouldn't bother finishing on PC if you have a switch to play the new version on.

Definitive Edition adds way more music to the soundtrack, more romance options, every party member gets their own little new story bits to play I believe, a bunch of new ridable monsters, you now have the ability to play through the entire game in the 3D style like you're playing now or in the classic 2D SNES style and can switch between the two on the fly. Maybe some other stuff I'm forgetting.

So yeah, big differences

HOLY FUCK I DIDNT EVEN COPY THAT TOP HALF, NINTENDO YOU JEWS

KH2 was already soulless and KH3 finished it off.

Oh yeah there's also a speedup option to make battles faster

KH has soul but the soul also has Down’s

I just got into the series with dq11, and god damn, I am 40 hours in and just finished act 1. I thought I was about to beat the game too.

>40 hours in
>Act 1 done
LMAO

You got 40 more left kiddo

Yes he did, what?

No he didn't. His team did. Toriyama only designs new monsters nowadays. I mean just look at Eric. If you believe that was designed by Toriyama you're out of your mind. Literally has nothing that resembles Toriyama.

shut the fuck up bitch i'll kick your fucking ass

Attached: Screenshot_21.png (1240x914, 432K)

You're blind, retarded, and delusional

Based invisual user. Dq8 was the last game Toriyama directly worked on. And 9 the last sugiyama wrote music for.

Gimme sources then faggot

>japshit
can't lose something you never had

>Japanese bad!

Attached: 1562444104770.jpg (985x1024, 67K)

First tell me how Eric fits in with this art style.

Attached: file.png (905x975, 1.71M)

That's seriously your only argument to back this up? You know toriyama designs more than the Hero and the monsters right? There's plenty of NPCs he's designed that don't look like they're from dragon Ball z

Just because they don't look like a Goku or Vegeta doesn't mean it wasn't designed by toriyama. I'm done arguing with you, you're clearly a fucking retard

The initial shock can be hard I know. Once you get past denial come back to me.

Underrated. Especially Terranigma.

It’s android 17s face with SS2 Gohan’s hair. What?

Botw had soul but the English localisation was soulless.

Not that dude, but damn, nigga. You're an edgy kid. I hope the gaming club at your community college gives you clout tokens.

>he doesn't think DMC1 has soul
Absolute tastelet

Onimusha since everyone else seems to be ignoring the 5 games clause.

Not that dude, but he has a point.

"Soul"

Attached: 1542617462564.png (450x499, 352K)

There's no evidence any "team" was involved in the process, surely Toriyama wouldn't be listed as the sole Character Designer in DQ11's credits if that was the case? Let's see some hard evidence, user

>DMC

DMC2 felt like it had no soul

what's this from?

Just found it from this article
dualshockers.com/dragon-quest-xi-character-designs-different-hilarious-glitch-video/

>The hero definitely changed a lot, and his original design was much closer to classic Dragon Quest protagonists.
AHHHHHHHHHHH
FUCK YOU TORIYAMA

Keking at all of these, especially DQ when you have to listen to DQ11s lazily composed, MIDI soundtrack.

based tranny

Man, you sure are starting off strong with a series that has not a single bad game, including spinoffs.

I recently bought Story So Far and KH3 itself. I'm 2 worlds in in KH1 but and it's pretty good so far but Sora controls like he weighs nothing. It's especially infuriating in the platforming segments. Do the other games make the controls better?
