For $35, sure.

I put in nearly 90 hours. One thing you'll want to remember is that its very different from previous AC games in that there are times where its literally impossible to go full stealth. Especially early on. They incorporated a leveling/ability system like an RPG and the games balanced around that. Until you really flesh out your assassin tree, you'll mostly be using sneak attacks to whittle down enemy health before you go balls to the wall with swordplay. Its jarring at first and I'm still not sure where I stand on it, but just don't feel frustrated that your assassinations aren't killing shit.

All hiding places are reduced to tall grass. No more blending in or haystacks or anything like that.

There's no way to save him because his death is canon in real life, he dies on that battle.
