About a month after Ultimate. Awful online system and fuck all for single play content, made it a chore just to even play multiplayer and change a single rule or item with the constant "would you like to save this multiplayer variant?" after even a single change.

Ultimate. It began to focus on useless bullshit and little details like the rules and management in spirits mode. All it needs to be is a party game, pick character and go, but it takes too long to set up a 4 stock match locally without having to create a ruleset. So much autistic shit that they forgot to add single player shit and the game is useless unless you are with someone all the time or want to use the bullshit online where kids can projectile spam, you cant rematch with different characters, evade, and pick 1 stock matches or wait in a line... in a fucking video game that costs 60 bucks.
Also when Sakurai's personal bias became apparent. He thought Ridley was a meme even after adding him, actually hates waluigi, adds every new fire emblem, added (and charged for) Joker despite the game being unknown to many, has only one American owned character and 4 western created characters, made the art style based off another game just bc he cums to the idea of Persona 5, cries when people see cutscenes of video games in fucking 2019, and is autistic with choosing to make smash competitive or not.
