Eden is a summon from FF8 that visually is a futuristic Garden (ie a flying saucer military barracks), yet the only lore really connected to it is that gardens were fashioned off of a primordial "dragon ship", and Eden itself only being obtainable by drawing it from Ultima Weapon or Tiamat lends to the idea of it being the original garden, but it's clearly not from the past

Ifrit is like the first summon you actually get.

When you become a ninja you get an ability that lets you use trick attack out of stealth. Then you never use stealth again.

You shouldn't be doing stealth in dungeons at all.

You may be wondering how you use Trick Attack. Later on you unlock Suiton which lets you use Trick Attack without using Hide first.

It's definitely fun if you're into playing the most demanding class with a lot of inputs. However you're pretty much useless outside of raids besides for your one gimmick (raid-wide temporary dps increase every 60 seconds). You'll be doing 20 inputs a second thanks to your gang signs while every other class will outdps you by pressing 123, 124, 125.

Still too early, savage raid balancing will cement wether DRG will remain good or not. Overall nothing is wrong with it, though, but it's the most likely candidate for nerfs. THe only reason the dot was extended is because DRG dont get the timer extended by doing their AOE combos like NIN, SAM, and MNK do.
It's much better now that you swap between sides more often instead of 126453. If you dont like positonals, dunno why you play MNK.

Instanced content, and quests were absent. while looking at a guildleve "derplander" is thrust into an echo scene where he is now an archer. He is with a marauder, gladiator, and a conjurer. (Classes were more free form in 1.0, and conjurer controlled the elements water wind ice fire thunder ect) the conjurer casting fire on the arrow was a cinematic depiction of an old 1.0 system. they are in mor dhona, and derplander is flown to silver tear lake. the light is and explosion is the garleans setting off the ceruliam tanks to self destruct to take out midgarsomr. The chain of events end up releasing primals as you can see ifrit and titan. thus triggered mor dhona to look as it does in 1.0. the bahamut calamity triggers to its 2.0 look.

EU is fine though, or at least I've been okay on Light, the only time I personally saw anything bad was this healer who kept using LB2 right before we had LB3 during Innocence since the group was entirely new people (it wasn't an accidently because he kept just standing entirely still after so he could wipe faster)

Biggest problem you get on Light is the Germans arn't likely to understand you if you speak English but at least they play a lot more competently than the French on average. No idea what Chaos is like but fuck Moogle.

Ascians tricked Tiamat into summoning a perverted primal version of Bahamut in her grief and rage, and the Ascians then taught the Allagans how to harness his power and imprison him. Eventually Cid's dad discovers Dalamud is actually the prison and Nael van Darnus winds up tempered and forces project Meteor ahead knowing full well it'll release Bahamut.

I thought Allagans were just a different name for Garleans though.

Allagans were an ancient civilization that the Garleans took ideas from. There's a number of reasons for that, and theories. One theory was recently made reality when we talk to Emet-Selch in side dialogue and he states that he created the Allagan Empire as well as the Garleans, but neither panned out the way he wanted.

They played the long con of summoning Bahamut, letting it fester and grow stronger and stronger, then unleashing it while a shard was spewing in shitloads of Dark Aether to cause an Umbral Calamity. It's basically why we need to stop them because if we don't they'll probably just pull some other long con shit after you die.

Tiamat and the original Bahamut (and Hraesvalgr, Ratatoskr, Niddhog, etc.) were the dragon Midgardsormr's children, but Bahamut died. Tiamat was tricked into thinking she could bring him back, but a Primal is an idea given shape through hope, prayer, and aether. Thus, this new, fake Bahamut, was a rage-filled, ravenous creature. I could go on but you should just read the wiki if you wanna know, or do Coils of Bahamut and finish the Heavensward storyline.
