>is arguably the greatest video game ever made >huge and diverse roster >iconic character designs >competitive balance is top tier >objectively the best F2P model >absolutely dominates esports >practically defines it's genre >game is nowhere near dead and still gets updated That's right it's a Dota 2 thread!
>obsessed with a shitty worse version of your game Literally why?

League is more popular because it came out when its only competition was HON, and has been marketed to death compared to DOTA 2.
These days the only people playing League are die hard fanboys because its their first moba, and when they try any other game in the genre they get confused about basic mechanics, like turn rates and cast points, confusing them for lag when in reality they're there to prevent people from stutter stepping, which inherently makes ranged vastly stronger then melee.
Carson Cooper
yeah not sure how you can argue against that statement

lel, you got me

>thing more popular = it’s the best Yea these recent star wars movies are so good brah.
Justin James
Dota is more of a rts/strategy game. LoL is more of a 20-40 mins rpg.
This genre in general is a mix of rts and rpg.
Bentley Myers
yeah it's pathetic valve really dropped the ball
Gavin Rogers
I really like when Sniper makes fun of "puny feather bullets" when you kill an archer
Jaxon Smith
There are no RTS elements whatsoever for you to manage.
Owen Reed
>absolutely dominates esports Dominates what, least viewership per money invested?
Owen Diaz
Dota has full RTS engine controls and many heroes and items fully utilize them
Regardless the RTS influence is in a more general sense, with the fog of war and pannable bird's eye view and units breaking down structures
Nah, that's Blizzard's abortion called OWL. Makes for a good second place, though.
