Regardless, I don't see how anyone makes any money playing TF2 casually - while in CS:GO, I just do my weekly drop, maybe a little more and I get a case and something else, but that's it and it made CS:GO worth playing even with a shit team

Well to be fair most of those items i got them throught the years, tf2 economy its crashed, back in 2013 i remember buying a lot of games thanks to trading, now you need to start whit atleast 20 keys or a healthy backpack, tf2 economy its not recomended for new players unless you really enjoy the game and are willing to spend atleast 100 hours on it again if thats not the case dont even try.

After 8 years and 9500 hours I think TF2 is finally losing its charm. Last night the new update came out. Meat Your Match. It was hailed as being what we have all been waiting for but it is not. Valve is proving time and time again they don't understand their veteran players or their game. The balance changes made are inconsequential and uninteresting. Quickplay has already done its work on good community servers like Tiny Little Robots or the Reddit West Coast server. They died. Now we have 24/7 servers for whatever fucking DM map hightower, harvest, even retards on 2fort or fuckign orange. Now we have quick play casual matchmaking. No more dropping in and out of pubs to DM with some music on now there is just fuckign serious TF2 where people play to win because they want their XP rather than actually for the fun of competition.Holy shit. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken tendies and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken tendies out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the update last night. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck did they kill TF2? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don't want to believe that Valve is so out of touch. I want a future to believe in. I want Robin Walker to come back and fix this broken game. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought this update was neato???? This is so fucked.

>Turn off random crits
>No duplicate classes in matchmaking
>Heavy has to reload his minigun
>Everyone gets infinite ammo
>Only payload, koth and attack/defense as matchmaking modes
>Remove trading
>Add competitive rewards so more people play it
>Engineers turret upgrades automatically to lvl 2, but deals less damage
>Dispenser and tele removed
>Spy has infinite cloak and cannot instakill backstab anymore, his main damage is now his revolver
>Rocketjump gets dedicated button and doesn't do damage. It has a cooldown
>Stickyjump gets a dedicated button and doesn't do damage to yourself. It has a cooldown
>You get removed from game if you afk more than 30 secods
>Crouch jump gets removed
>Scout's doublejump gets removed
>Bonk! has a dedicated button with a cooldown
>Jarate has a dedicated button with a cooldown
>Jetpack has a dedicated button with a cooldown
>Every class has only one weapon, melee weapons have been turned into quick-melees which have their own dedicated button
>Air strafing gets removed
>B-hop gets removed
>Every 4-6 months a new class is introduced that completely breaks the meta for 1-12 months
