there's definitely enough weapons for it to work. Only problem is having any class use any weapon. For this to work you'd need a 10th class that doesn't really have anything unique about them, like the Civilian class. I'd give it a shot. Battle Royales are fun for a bit. Pubstomping is fun in casual, but if there was a BR mode then there is consequences when you fuck up making more "exciting", at least for a bit.

Battle Royale has two distinguishing features; a huge map and 100 players. CSGO has neither and Source can't handle it. If you think what CSGO has counts then any game with a Last Man Standing mode would be Battle Royale.

Nope. While it is the usual standard for it to be 100 players, Apex does pretty good with 60 even if it is forced squads. Plus a lot of Fortnite LTMs are 50 players or even lower and those work well. However, CSGO's 16 player BR is pathetic, especially with Respawn showing that Source could handle way more with some talent and elbow grease. If Valve actually gave a shit then that CSGO BR could have been something special.
