This is the ONLY game that was ever worth its $60 price tag. Prove me wrong.
This is the ONLY game that was ever worth its $60 price tag. Prove me wrong
No video game is worth $60
paid $85 for the game and DLC and didn't regret it
the game is garbage and super easy. Once you master Quen Sign the game is just stupid dumb. I played in the hardest mode got half way then realize how easy it was. Quen Sign just makes the game so easy.
Is like im back to 2015...
You are forgetting this
>BRO!! BEWBS BRO LOOOL OMG THIS IZ SO EPICCX THERE ARE BEWBIES MY LIL 4 INCHER IS SORE GOTYY GOTY
Please please PLEASE have sex
Fuck off EA
these two games are worth 100 bucks each
I bought it with all the dlc for $20 and i genuinely regret it
I dont understand what people see in it
What do I win?
Good writing, characters, narrative, and decision making
Only for Portal (and if you like to get blueballs from HL2)
I bought Fallout 3 for $50. That was worth the money.
Also bought Deus Ex Mankind Divided for $60 on release and I felt that was totally worth it. Got 30 hours out of it without beating the story. Great game
>Witcher 3 is super ea-
Granted it was literally the last fight in the game, but tell me this guy wasn't harder than a lot of Souls bosses.
>got it for 25$
>GOTY edition with the DLCs
>great game
>didn't even finish it
>I dont understand what people see in it
They don't care about the gameplay or even the plot really (most of them never beat the older eurojank piece of shit games). They just like the graphics.
TF2 in its prime was amazing too.
and it's on sale almost all the time for like $20 now with all dlcs
>$60
it was like 40 PLN
Let me put it this way: I didn't switch to Ninja Dog to beat NGB. I switched to Easy to beat Detlaff
I bought the collector's edition so I paid a whole lotta more.
I switched too, and I don't even give a fuck or feel bad. How are you going to make the entire game easy, and then out of nowhere this guy just bodies you over and over.
Frog prince, olgeird on level scale mode are way harder..
*batswarms your path*
Seriously how the fuck are you gonna include a Souls boss in a game with the clunkiest dodgeroll in the history of vidya?
Fuck off you unvirgin
i got them for $15 :^)
wasn't even that good
is this a joke? at that point you have the whatchamutagen system. I remember the soundtrack being good but the fight was easy just like all other fights in the game.
RENT FREE BABY! RENT FREE!!!
>fighting brolgierd
You deserved it.
No it wasn't, I've cheesed plenty of Witcher fights but Detlaff is an asshole that makes you stop and learn patterns like a DMC boss, I mean FFS he teleports offstage for a bullshit bat beam, what other boss just flat out vanishes and makes you deal with their worst move?
That fucking scene, how was I supposed to know the significance of horse theft in Poland. It's the only time I reloaded to redo a decision.
I'm not a Pro Gamer or anything, but I've played enough Monster Hunter and Soulsborne games to recognize a difficult boss. Suddenly my easy-going slavcore rpg experience was shoving bats up my ass sans lube.
Holy fuck it's like you read a government booklet on how to make yourself look like a retard.
What do you mean? What significance?
I literally played it for about 40 minutes and never touched it again.
I wish I was kidding.
why do people go overboard shilling this game? is it that good? what's the gameplay like?
goty edition was worth $14.99 + tax - $0.27 in steam trading card bucks, i'll tell you that
I guess "friends you can steal horses with" is a Polish saying about somebody you are really good friends with. Victor Orban even said it when discussing Hungary and Poland's relationship.
That just went way over my head, I thought Ciri's friends were just being assholes and kinda missed the point of solidifying friendship.
I'm here waiting for the pasta. But yes, Witcher 3 is an overrated piece of shit.
I feel like Yea Forums universally loved this game until this year. Now, everyone hates it. Was the copypasta really that strong?
Cope fags, you know I am correct on this. Either make an argument or STFU
Yea Forums does universally love the game, it's just reddit got infected with a parasitoid autist who serially picks games to shit on every while and starts threads about it nonstop. happened with RDR2, RE2make, and now the witcher 3. there were other games before. He started around mid-2018
it became popular with normies.
thus meaning it is automatically shit.
Your "argument" is nothing new user, has been said since the game released.
It's a great game, but it has a lot of flaws. It's a 3rd person adventure game that has some really unique mechanics that make it stand out among the crowd despite the setting being the most mundane ever conceived, and it gets into some really fucky metaphysical shit almost out of nowhere. 100% worth playing, but go into it with no expectations for the best experience.
the honeymoon period is over. the game is meh, very average and because its being dubbed as the greatest game ever it needs to be offset by calling it the shittiest game ever.
is it true that it plays like a single player MMORPG? is there grinding and boring repetitive shit or can I expect an enjoyable adventure experience?
Funny. Detlaff didn't give me as much headache as the Kayran in Witcher 2.
You can absolutely just relax and enjoy the world. DD is one of the comfiest games ever made imo. There is a good bit of grinding for the DLC, Dark Arisen. It changes the game a lot and turns into as close of a cloke of Souls games as DD is capable of. But if you've gotten to the Bitterblack Isle, you're not going to mind grinding by that point. I would reccomend it, just go into it with an open mind.
>be me, noob in the witcher series
>have to fight this giant octopus thing
>only ever used igni and quen so far
>bitch starts screaming ''yrden, trap it with yrden!''
>have no fucking idea what that means
>continues to get slapped to death while trying to whack the tentacles
>after a whole fucking hour i find out that yrden is a sign and manage to kill the thing
>loading screen tips suggest planning and using potions and oils for specific monsters
>tutorial portion of game forces you to make potions and oils to fight miniboss
did anybody actually use that shit? i immediately forgot about it and beat the game just fine. sounds pretty unbalanced to me
>paying 60 for a movie
Imagine being this cucked
> YRDEN
> TRAP IT WITH THE YRDEN
is this the most annoying thing across the Witcher series?
>buyfag
you need to go back
I don't think Yea Forums universally loves this game. It seems pretty split with the majority maybe even not siding with it.
I think it's a fine or even a good game, but anyone acting like it's in the top 15 games ever doesn't really grasp what makes a game great. There's no cohesion between the story, combat, and world exploration.
- Story is an ok-written long quest to find a girl. The dialogue isn't terrible for the most part, so people find it better than average games but it's by no means an actively good story. Characters are generally bland archetypes.
- Combat would have been ok maybe a decade ago. It's not good though. It's learning how to spam dodge, attack, and one or two signs. There's no room for creativity or improvisation.
- The world is actually really good. It has its own aesthetic and exploring it is pretty fun. It's mostly undercut by unresponsive/unfun movement and the feeling of constantly needing to loot shit.
These things range from shit to great, but nothing between them forms a consistent game. It's like a shitty hack and slash, a meh telltale game, and a good exploration game frankensteined into one.
A lot of the things in the game completely break it, max fleet-footed being a good example.
He's a complete pushover.
>This is the ONLY game that was ever worth its $60 price tag. Prove me wrong.
>Divinity:Original Sin 2
>Wizardry 8
>TES:III
>Cyberpunk 2077
There, consider yourself proven wrong.
Quite possibly, cant remember anyone who was annoying as that
as if i even had 4 inches of wood
First of all QUEN even maxed can be easily broken by boss or stronger enemy with one hit. And you can't spam QUEN as much as want, even if you get bear set, still in most cases you won't have 24/7 QUEN. Maybe common enemies will have problem with quen but you can easily beat them without quen.
Vampires in B&W can easily beat shit out of "Muh I put quen and rush like idiot"
I like how you added cyberpunk to trigger everyone
>retards intentionally pick broken skill combinations and minmax
>Wtf game so ez
this was the absolute pinnacle of gaming and we will never experience something this grand ever again.
rats on scale mode are the hardest thing in the game.
On easy alchemy is basically not needed.
But for harder difficulties using alchemy is really important and on hardest difficulties alchemy is must have.
Agreed. I would have paid $100 CAD for it if I knew going in how good it was going to be.
And it's probably the only game I feel that way about.
No because I bought it and then found out that my toaster couldn't run it even on the lowest settings. So as far as I'm concerned it's worth $0.
this on the other hand is well worth $60
Game was easy, but game difficulty is not the sign of a good game.
For me gameplay is only there to supplement the storytelling.
I even only ever played Starcraft and Diablo II to get to the next cutscene or Blizzard cinematic, the games themselves were shit.
PROVE ME WRONG.
why are you playing games then. go watch a movie
Oh, you want an argument? Okay, here goes.
It's no a Dark Souls game you dumb fucking faggot. And it's not supposed to be. It's a ROLE PLAYING GAME focused on the STORY. Combat is only secondary.
>I like how you added cyberpunk to trigger everyone
Red Dead Redemption 2 is worth even more.
Idk man. Look at dark souls, minecraft, survival games, ASSFAGGOTS or any shooter. Nobody plays them for the story. Im not saying story is not important since i love games like secret of monkey island but it heavily depends on the genre and setting.
I only buy day-one for 'political' reasons (politically incorrect game, to support the company/franchise ecc).
>STORY
Then why was the story almost as bad as the gameplay then? The only thing the devs seemed to focus on was graphics. Gwent was probably added by 5 or 6 guys after hours.
Eh can't fault you user but it's not really open I cant do as much i'd like in that game vs skyrim.
