First playthrough I did.
Second playthrough was entirely non-lethal/pacifist until it resulted in Paul getting killed. Then I went on what they call a roaring rampage of revenge against MJ12 and dropped the pacifism.
No, I robbed his apartment, locked up his computer, and left him for dead
The first time through, it didn't occur to me that I might be able to stand and fight. At the time, I hadn't had much experience with RPGs yet.
This.
I saved him the next time.
You don't even need to fight the MJ12 guys in the hotel.
Whether Paul lives or dies hinges entirely on you leaving through the window or the front door.
no
Nah fuck that cuck. I'm a UNATCO man.
No, I... thought he was a GEP gun.
Does he survive? Or does he get shot? Did you no kill just like he had taught?
How can I spice up a second playthrough? I maxed points in rifles mainly, with a lot in handguns as well.
flamethrower
Stick with the prod. Prod with the prod.
Just in case, though - we're police.
>Get to Hell's Kitchen
>Ignore Paul, get all the skill points from the level for exploring
>Get back to the ton through the front door
>Stick with the prod by prodding the thug with the prod
>Tell the owner
>The girl runs off
>Keep her from leaving by knocking her out, the owner can deal with her when she wakes up
>Leave the ton
>900 Skill Points Awarded
>Default Mission Message - REPORT THIS AS A BUG
>Go back into the hotel
>Paul isn't there anymore

Report the bug, obviously.
Stick the prod in the ass HeHe H3He
Something like this happened to me the first time I played except it was because I went in through the back door. I tried fucking around with console commands but the only thing I could do to fix it was load an earlier save.
fuck paul, i didnt get my entire body replaced with nano augmentation to tickle some faggots nuts til he takes a nappy
im killin motherfuckers like its cool
pepper spray only
first playthrough no, because no other games are as open ended as deus ex, literally every other single game would cue you in some way, in a dialogue wheel, or some notifictation, or notice, or objective marker or whatever. only deus ex has a true emergent gameplay rpg experience
