Rising Storm 2: Vietnam
I played with friends
I'm trash at first-person shooters

I've been playing rdr2 and mario maker 2 for the past weeks so
Rdr2
Pro
>i like the western setting, they really didn't miss anything, also it's kinda good once you get the grip
Con
>game is too fucking slow and the controls are total shit

Smm2
Pro
>infinite levels, there's fucking everything you can imagine
Con
>laggy ass online, and the fact that you can't search levels by name

Warframe
>I like the game
>But the grind is real
Also I love Astolfo

Skyrim VR

Pro: Playing a game of that scale and openness in VR feels great.
Con: It's janky as shit and some of the mechanics clearly weren't thought through. Does work fine though.

>try to quarry stone for my home
>since it doesn't force third person animations for mining like the normal game does, it just instantly skips the animation entirely then gives you the mined item
>except this means that when you mine stone or clay it just fucking HYPER MINES and you get something like 4 stones/clay every frame or some shit

Judgment.

Good: Everything, except some tailing missions.
Bad: Tailing missions are an absolute bore.

Stellaris
>Basically legend of the galactic heroes level of epic in a video game. Civ in space and AI aren't fully retarded.
>games actually take 16+ hours to finish, even on the easiest difficulty, going as fast as possible.

Lobotomy Corporation.
Pro
>Each and every monster/abnormality you have to deal with is different, leading to a lot of fun and "fun" figuring out how to work with them safely. Most are pretty cool, too
Con
>Tedious as fuck sometimes. I've completed Day 26 more times than I can remember to complete side objectives and it kind of gets grating to do a bunch of stuff that makes no sense in the normal gameplay loop just to complete one of these side objectives

Inquisitor Martyr
Pro
>Every single weapon is fun to use
Con
>Not every weapon is effective.

Payday 2
Pro
>First person parkour has an amazing flow
Con
>You have to adhere rigidly to the meta to do higher difficulties

For Honor
Pro
>Fun character customization
Con
>They only rework/rebalance one or two characters at a time.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger
Pro
>Nearly a masterpiece
Con
>IP is dead and it's pretty short

Haven't played a Yakuza game, but I love detectiveshit. How does that work?

It works well. Story is excellent.

Division 2.

Good: It's pretty exciting when I get hit with the foam gun from behind but get out just in time.

Bad: Load times. I need to switch to ssd.

Octodad Dadliest Catch
Fun and funny. Great game.
Much too short. Could have the length quadrupled. Would not be worth the 15 bucks it is now that it's off sale.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Pro
>Combat is very engaging once you are able to swap around blades to make the flow smoother

Con
>The majority of rare blades are locked behind the gacha and fuck ursula

I know said two for cons, but really, fuck her quests.

>fuck ursula

yes please

>Astolfo
I want normalfag redditors to leave

Resident Evil Outbreak
Good thing:
It's classic Resident Evil gameplay but with others online
Bad thing:
It's classic Resident Evil gameplay

Dawn of War 2
Pro
>I like fucking around with Hero Units
Con
>Getting swamped with boring 'defend x resource missions later in the campaign

Metroid Fusion

Just started and the handholding is already getting to me. Does the game stay that way all the way through?

Mordhau is an amazing game with an underrated soundtrack, but a lot of people who play it are such pussies who are afraid of aggressive playstyles, which I find to be the most entertaining way to play the game and the best moments I have are when everyone is balls to the wall relentless.

Shantae Half-Genie Hero

Pro
>Lots of hidden items to find and backtracking becomes progressively easier especially once you get Warp Dance and a few transformations

Con
>The early game (especially Tassel Town) can be very hard since you have very low health

Mario Maker 2

>Pro
Tons of levels and easy to pick up and play since no real commitment is involved.

>Con
I'm limited to Expert and Super Expert levels only. Expert is easy as hell (usually) and Super Expect are usually not that bad unless they involve some crazy shell jumps and shit.

Muse Dash
>insanely fun and addictive
>easier difficulties aren't fun to play once you can do 7 stars and up which is a problem because A LOT of maps don't go above 7 stars even on the Master difficulty for that map

Another pro is the lewds and art/animation
Adding to your con, it sucks that you can't auto clear easier difficulty challenges/trophies on higher difficulties.

>Get an A rank 3 times on easiest
Nobody wants to do that, fuck.

Destiny 2
>Pro
Runs well minus the load times on HDDs. The grind is kind of fun, some of the weapons and subclasses feel incredibly fun to use, and I love some of the co op activities in the game
>Cons
Some of the activities are awful, PVP feels at times less enjoyable than Destiny 1, and missions really do rely too much on timed defense sections.

Ar tonelico 3
Great characters, compelling storyline, amazing music by Shikata
Awful and disgusting fanservice that actively damaged gameplay, there are no more games set in the universe

Dragon Quest Heroes
It's nice, the characters play well, but the lack of sprinting is annoying as all fuck (thank god 2 fixed it) and why is every mission a "protect the thing" mission

RDR 2's world is beautiful.
It fails in almost every other respect

Attached: rdr2.jpg (768x433, 48K)

Some of Persona 5's later dungeons weren't great and the dialogue/pacing gets slower after Hawaii
But apart from that it's the greatest game ever made

Attached: 1562621279758.jpg (480x480, 38K)

Crash Bandicoot W A R P E D

>the most polished game of the trilogy

>too long and linear still

Attached: tumblr_p6f6w3v3B41wbtqhjo1_1280.png (1280x1280, 1.09M)

no zoomlet

Age of Empires 3
Satisfies my love for the Age of Discovery/Colonial period
Some civs are noticeably weak, like the Portuguese

no it fucking isn't
nowhere near it lmao

It really is a pain because the completionist in me REALLY wants to go back and get all the trophies but at the same time I don't want to waste all that time doing those easier level practically half asleep because they're so mindless
plus I'm super autistic about this sort of thing and I don't like doing levels below my skill because I'm afraid it might make me worse at the game

HELLDIVERS!
>Pro: Everything but the Illuminate
>Cons: The Illuminate
I played a lv 12 planet to get the cape. Never Again.

Attached: 5e2b0b95084753dc49969ecfe017c34cce2c2a15.jpg (616x353, 39K)

The game pales in comparison to its predecessor in every aspect, from narrative to basic gameplay elements like cover

>Granblue fantasy
Story events and bosses are fun
The grind is fucking awful

Yeah I understand how you feel.
I've failed several easy missions because I was so bored doing it I lost focus.

okay retard

Stellaris
>They changed it
>They changed it

KOTOR 2
Good
>Gave a hobo money and he died
Bad
>Didn't give a hobo money and he died
APATHY IS DEATH

cover in rdr2 is fine, why do you retards always bring it up

Because it's actually bad, and more than one person thinks so

how the fuck is it bad
it works like every other game

you mean to tell me there's more than one retarded person on the planet?

Just because the majority of people correctly point out what is a broken mechanic in a game you happen to incorrectly enjoy doesn't mean that you're in the right because you don't notice shit mechanics

>Bayo 1

Pros:Excellent combat, great humor, good variety of weapons

Cons: Non-combat sections are kinda lame, constant interuptions for cutscenes

>BROCKHAMPTON
cool

you've yet to explain how it's bad

Close to the Sun

Pros: Great atmosphere and design, even though it feels like a complete Bioshock ripoff

Cons: It's really just a walking sim
