Is it worth picking one up today?

a cheap one, yes

no
the switch lite is coming in literally 2 months

Only if you hack it

I can get one for about 100 euros

No but I enjoyed playing final fantasy tactics and ape escape on it

Fuck no.

If you want to emulate, yes. You can even speedup games on adrenaline now.

It's OK. I bought one a few months ago and it's collecting dust now. It's very easy to hack and you can buy a microsd adapter for it for cheap storage but most of the homebrew software available is garbage. It can barely emulate more than the PSP can and up until recently it struggled to emulate GBA and SNES without using an overclock plugin.

The actual Vita library is small so I basically only used mine to re-play PSP games with twin sticks after beating P4G and Soul Sacrifice Delta.

Is it as simple as 3ds hacking? How easy is it to get banned?

Yes, or try to pick up a PS Vita TV if you can find one for cheap.
Soul Sacrifice Delta should be your first pick if you're into Monster Hunter-esque games.

Wait for the Switch Lite.

Isn't there that thing where you can stream PS4 games to a Vita? Is that any good for just lazing on the couch with a console game while the rest of your family does whatever with the TV?

I found it even more simple, and no risk of bans if you follow the guide

does the PSvita sd card work just like a normal SD card when you plug it into a computer?

No, you visit a website on the vita to get homebrew and then use FTP to send the files to the vita.

Not anymore. Grab a haxed Switch and upgrade your pc, m88.

Vita uses proprietary Sony cards just like the PSP, if you want to use a real microsd you need to buy an SD2Vita and hack your Vita first.

You need to get an adapter.

If you enjoy playing games like Muramsa Rebirth, Killzone Mercenary, Soul Sacrifice Delta, HD MGS games on the go, multiple Persona,Trails and Ys games then it's worth it.

You mean the handheld that has no access to games between the switch and NES? I'd rather just mod a vita so I can play games that are actually worth playing.

If you hack it, it's great. There is an app that has a list of every vita, psp, and ps1 game that you can download directly on the Vita. Makes downloading games so much easier.

pkgj

>PSO2 crossplay with PC/PS4 servers, english community on jap servers still
>PS1 classics like MegaMan Legends, Armored Core and FFVII ported well and play great.
>P4: Golden is objectively best version of the game
I still play it everyday

>P4: Golden is objectively best version of the game

Literally the only reason I got a vita
