No you're not retarded, there are a couple un skippable Gunmi ship segments, namely the bosses you gave to fight before entering the world, and I think one near the very end, other than that all you have to do is avoid the heartless flying through space to avoid starting there segments.

The first red flag for me was the Gummi Ship music being fuckawful.
The second red flag was how short Toy Box was.
The third red flag was how none of the worlds before or after Toy Box (the the exception of maybe Olympia) felt like there was fucking anything plot relevant in any way.
The fourth red flag was how everything Sora did ended up being irrelevant since it turns out he had the power of waking the whole time.
It only got worse from there.
Gameplay was fun, though, I guess. Story made me wanna strangle myself for ever getting invested in this series.

Where did Roxas even come from? I thought thy were going to seperate Sora and Roxas before the final battle with the mannequin, but they hold onto it for Namine and Roxas just falls out of the sky. And Lingering Will not showing up the first time was bullshit. What was he doing?

I fucking know, user, but even KH2— the princr of plot irrelevant Disney worlds— at least had the second visits and the occasional return trips to Hollow Bastion to make you feel like something was happening. On top of that, KH2's plot also sort of justified it since nobody really knew what was going on. The plot was basically just Sora fucking around while trying to find Riku until the organization finally goes and starts shit at Hollow Bastion at the halfway point.
KH3 has a clear, imminent threat that everyone needs to focus on from the very first second of the plot, and Sora still ends up just dicking around for no reason.

I liked the Tangled world a lot, and it was lengthy enough to feel worth the time I spent in it, but every world after that felt like garbage. Don't even get me started on Frozen and how you spent tangoing with Larxene instead of the characters. But they could have done something like 2 where you spent a bit more time getting to fucking know your new friends

Toy Story and Monsters Inc were good. Olympus was solid.
Pirates, Frozen and Tangled were just retellings (though I liked how they did Tangled and gave you time to hang out with Flynn and Rapunzel). I also didnt like BH6 with how shitty its story was
