So we can all safely agree he is the greatest Final Fantasy "villain" ever, right? Well written, well-designed, well voiced, dangerously competent yet also very sympathetic. He was the most compelling character in Shadowbringers for me and you never knew where you stood with him or what he was planning until the very end.
