Could Seinfeld work as videogame?

Persona 4.
The game about nothing.

>get the Summer of George buff
>AGI goes to absolute shit
Fix when?

I can't get past the Laugh Factory level

I think there's definitely a way to make it work, but it'd have to rely almost entirely on the creativity and role-playing of the players

The essence of Seinfeld is the bizarre characters populating New York City and how their idiosyncrasies collide.
So a Seinfeld game needs to replicate that.

The only way I can think of it is via an MMO where the players essentially create the content for themselves by creating their own New Yorker and attempting to go about their day until inevitably coming across another player and butting heads.
There could be NPCs and quests and events more strictly tied to the source material but I imagine a game world that constantly evolves with the community, like a real city but populated exclusively by shitposters.

Devs never planned anything past that stage truthfully. There’s some rough fan made content for the David letterman late night interview, but all you get from that is an “Afro American” skill. Wish the developers did more with his character.

Giddy up

So basically, Yakuza series but set in New York?

It works as a visual novel.

>A game about nothing
Yes it can

What's the joke?
Why is Kramer drawn so terribly?

How would this scene play out in video game form? Click and point? Visual novel? Negotiation tactics?

Seinfeld isnt about nothing. Its about the little things

did you get the fork item? use the gravity modifiers to hang the niggers upside down and sick the fork up their asses.

If only Telltale was still in business.
A Seinfeld game from them similar to the Homestar Runner game they did would have been.

QTE's where you are given multiple options and have to select the right one within a limited time frame

Set it after the finale with Larry David writing, have Jerry out of prison and trying to get his life back in order, and then throw in the usual Seinfeld hijinx.

It's gold!

Stupid ass

The show still has story arcs and stuff though. Like that one about George's fiancé dying.

Crap, I misspelled fiancée. Whatever.

The joke is that is "feed" and "seed" rhyme with Sneed. By saying "formerly Chuck's" the viewer thinks of words that rhyme with Chuck, such as "fuck" and "suck".

Stupider ass

Based retard

Elaine trainer.

>Yo-Yo-Ma buff is OP
>Only issue is that you have to play a severely gimped version of Kramer to even be able to use it
>Never have a chance to properly use it to its full potential
Is this a joke? I get the source material for the game, but this is too far.

Wario Ware Microgames.

turn based battle

Any Elaine mods for Hunny Select?

>mmo
fuck that, make it a space station 13/TTT/that other game roundbased style game where select players get to be the characters and the rest of the server is the studio audience that votes on what is funny and what should happen next while the player have to deal with the situation to the best of their abilities

>get Opposite George status
>difficulty suddenly tanks, steamroll everything

I've never heard of those but it sounds neat

I always thought that became a thing after they made the show within the show explicitly about that and the lazy npc tv critics just latched onto it.

But even the show within the show had a story (that guy is forced to become Jerry’s butler) so that’s part of the joke I guess.

>Seinfeld game in the style of SBCG4AP
I'll take 20

A Telltale-style adventure game where you make a series of mundane choices over the course of the season and none of them matter in the slightest

Yes as an RPG
George: tank
Elaine: spy/rogue (trying to escape peterman, sidle around)
Jerry: debuffer (“she should just give up”)
Kramer: medic (kavorka, lobsters)
Main quest line is full of references to the show, like needing the ribbon to enter the Puerto Rican pride festival, or finding Elaine to babysit the kid.

It could work as a:

>Plataformer
The four characters with their own abilities in NYC+LA+FL settings.
>RPG
There's a lot of character that could work as bosses to defeat with your party
>VN/Point and click
Play as Jerry during an episode or something

Yes

For me, it's straight hair Elaine's armpits.

>Seinfeld as a dungeon crawler/social sim
Hell yes.

That last one sounds good.
