I still have SMTIV Apocalypse and a couple Etrian Odyssey games in my backlog which I'll play as soon as Atlus gets off their asses and properly shows off SMTV and EO Switch along with their release dates.

Just got my N2DSXL and Vita, first handhelds since the GBC days. DS games play so much better with 2 screens, unlike emulating them. The vita is cute and has tons of exclusive cunny and a bunch of PSP games I've missed.

If you weren't 10 years old you'd notice handheld system sales in general have collapsed and Nintendo absolutely destroyed Sony with the 3DS, harder than the DS destroyed the PSP.

The 2DS was all about costcutting. The 2DS only uses a single panel, for example.

The New 3DS XL is not even that old. Besides Nintendo stated it would continue to support it after the switch (keeping the handheld + main home console tradition) but they went back on it and full s o y, Does the Switch even have all the connectivity features of the 3DS? Nintendo supported the 3DS for two years after the Switch's release. Also, are some of you people retarded and/or is this your first generational transition? The previous gen system stops getting supported shortly after the next generation comes out. And even if you decided to hide your head under the sand and ignore the immediately obvious fact that the Switch was going to be the 3DS' successor, by now this would've happened if it wasn't and the 3DS would be dead anyway. It's eight years old, come on.

Not challenging you, I want a 2DSXL but there's really no place to lookup the best games for it without getting the exact same top ten list a thousand times.

All I want is the decent exclusive games ported over to Switch. I've never had a 3ds or 2ds, and I really wanna play OoT 3d and MM 3d on my Switch in a higher resolution.

3DS came out in a time where interest in dedicated handheld gaming had died down. The Switch and revitalized consumer interest in dedicated handheld gaming singlehandedly.

I really hate Nintendo sometimes. Had they had kept the Virtual Console, or updated the Nintendo Switch Online collection more often and in higher numbers, we could have been playing not only their huge backlog of older games right now, but also 3DS games on the Switch. Does Nintendo fucking hate money or what? I really, really hate Nintendo Switch Online.
