I feel bad for Cortex. He's the main antagonist of the series and people barely play as him online, even though he has the same stats as Crash, Fake Crash, Geary and Komodo Joe.

It's really just the double turbine part at the very end. The first two lone ones are easy and I can get past both of them with like 90% consistency. I have no tips for the double turbines tho, just pray. You'll eventually make it past that part three times in a row if you just keep trying. For me this was more like a "fun" little challenge than anything else. I'm never going to be able to do that online but that's fine since nobody else can do it either.

there are both daily and weekend bonuses. Dailies last 30 while you're INGAME (not waiting in lobbies) and give you 5x coins and resets every day. Wekkend bonus lasts fri sat and sun and give you 2x whenever you play. These can be combined for 10x gains and thats where you see shit like 800 coins per race

Gameplay is there are are the tracks but it's missing the cool character selection, and has been assfucked through a coin and nitro system and the devs have demonstrated they'd sooner pander to social justice bullshit then actually fix their game, even breaking it further with their renaming patch. I can't recommend it until they sort out these issues unless you can get it for cheap.

The botched physics on halfpipes is very much a bigger issue since it's very different than the original game. Maybe they're being slow lame shits about it but I'm sure messing with the tube physics could throw everything off, even though the physics there is totally off

Alternatively I think some of the other maps are great and fit their own niche excellently, Clockwork Wumpa, Out of Time and Electron Avenue are great. Some parts of Thunder Struck come off a bit Hot Air Skyway to me layout wise but it's rocking some unique environmental hazards and interesting turns to differentiate it.

If you're going to have a mechanic which lets you go twice as fast as normally, it's pretty dumb to only make it possible to activate it at one specific point during the track. People are going to say I need to git gud, but it does not work at all for an online game like this. Usually with racing games, you can reach top speed just by accelerating. Here you'll be denied top speed for an entire lap if something happens to you. It's like if somebody hit you in Gran Turismo, and then you're forced to drive in second gear

I think the trick is to hold down+left/right before you jump, then release acceleration tap brake and resume accelerating before touching the ground. I feel you, on the PS4 controller I'm too used to using the joystick and when I tried to use the d-pad to race it's like my hand would not cooperate, even made me fuck up braking and accelerating which is the opposite hand. It'll take some doing but you'll have to train your hand to git gud, you have the proper technique in your head you just have to translate it to mechanical movements, which is far easier said than done. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the new guy. You obviously can't replace the original, but the new WOAH and ABAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE were very well executed.

I know WOAH gets memed into oblivion, but I really like the way he says it.

I didn't know WOAH was actually a relatively normalfag meme until maybe a year or two after N. Sane Trilogy came out. I just thought people here on Yea Forums were going full throttle with the Crash hype and all the edits. COMPLETELY ERECT's HD remaster in particular is great.
