I tried the doc for a while but i just can't. It's not his shitty recovery that turned me off, it's the fact that his attacks are so stubby. Yeah he hits hard but it's so difficult to land anything. Meanwhile i'm trying to get past walls of projectlies and long ass swords from my opponents with one of the slowest runners in the game. Being doc truly is suffering.

I mained young link back in melee because when I was young I preferred to play as the 14 year olds rather than the buff characters (I still do, oddly enough, no pedo)
Now young link is the only character I'm willing to play as besides cloud and ike. Young link has basically no landing lag and his boomerang is basically a combo killer when I'm stuck. Also his Dtilt is insane if you care about combos like me.

Based, I like that Lucas isn't so helpless off the edge since his recovery goes twice as far as Ness and he can mix up with his recovery by using Rope Snake and horizontal air dodge since it's just as big as Ness'.
I know it's probably not going to happen, but I hope they tweak some of his moves and down throw so he finally has some reliable bread and butter combos.
