Simply find them around the town you're at, and talk to them. You can ask them to come with you (only one at a time though), and plenty of events only happen with a specific member in the party.

For example, if you're with Kakyoin, you can drink with a lady if your character isn't shy. Avdol has a little scene if you go to the sushi bar. If Jotaro's over level 10, you can be jumped by assassins. Most of these give FP. If anything, have Joseph with you when you talk to the 'hidden dude' near the truck. Fun little scene.

There's a long sidequest in Japan where you help a student get his dirty magazine back from a teacher

if you do it unlocks an alternate costume where you're dressed like a samurai, it has a property in battle where either you or your enemy can randomly lose a turn. Also it changes some dialogue throughout the game.
For females you get a bunny suit that has the same effect but you get it later and it's also nearly impossible to acquire.

Stand stats make no sense, that was true even in the series.

You need to beat down the afterimages and Pol fast before the bleeding kills you. Deep purple can do it with Bomb Volley but you may miss a bunch of times and you need to watch your SP use. Good Luck.

When i hit him with the DOT I only do 2 dmg. This is at level 16.

Joykiller is utterly braindead but is really useful. Its normal attack hits all enemies, and it does tons of damage early game. You'll be doing 70s when other stands are lucky to be getting 40. It's also fast as fuck so you often get first turn.

That said it is only good at Medium and Short range. At long it becomes worthless, it also has no special utility beyond being insanely fast and doing insane melee damage. At level 45 it gets a great status effect inflicting ability and that is all it gets for brainy mechanics.

It also has no overworld/sidequest interactions at all iirc, though the high speed can be used to catch the cat at the starting town with enough grinding.

Well, in defense of Pixies if it was an actual Jojo stand it would be strong as fuck and along with Miracles one of the strongest of the 18 Stands we can get. It just doesn't translate well to JRPG tropes where devs set out to give enemies plot armor against things they really should just flop down to.

If it's your first playthrough you don't really need to do any grinding until Aswan and Cairo.

Depends what you want, the submarine route is longer but is structurally very different to the rest of the game. I also found it the hardest part. It's also a fair bit longer than the manga route. Do it if you want any of the special Hol Horse events.

Nah just leave it for NG+, that or use a badge and save scum, although most of the time it's worth it to hold onto them until you have a lot before you use them in the over worlds.

Personality test assigns base stats, this can be varied on what stand you get, there is a guide for getting the max for each stand with the exact answers for it
Tactics are a thing that give you a boost to one stat at the cost of another.

That's what i figured I do crazy damage to the stands in close range but as soon as they hit M for some reason i do maybe 10% of my dmg at times. The lai strike for example does over 230 dmg to the after images but only 30 to pot himself.
