Usually movies, books, and other media only have their story and content to rely on to keep a person engaged. video games have their gameplay to keep people engaged even if the story or content is meant for children, shit like splatoon might look like its meant for children, but the gameplay is so spot on that many adults look over that fact to have fun with the game.
