What do you want to see in the next installment of the Tomb Raider franchise?

I think maybe if they kept current Lara but 10 years older so she is more mature and experienced. I think she was 26 in Shadow so having her be 36 would be a good age for her. Less combat and bigger focus on puzzle solving and exploration I think would be a good direction to go with the series. Any combat should be more with animals or creatures rather than humans.

I want the Tomb Raider franchise to crash and burn and for an indie developer (or anyone, really) to make a new game that iterates, builds on and betters the classic Tomb Raider gameplay and atmosphere. The 2013 reboot is honestly fine. There's some really neat Metroidvania influences, of all things. The survival focus is definitely out of place, but it's pretty engaging. Not too much bloat, either, it's one of the few games I've platinum'd.

Rise was decent but I wouldn't waste your time with it. Shadow is just all over the place.
