Yeah, but they can involve some actual role playing retard. I'm not saying JRPGs are bad, but they aren't RPGs, they'r JTGs, Japanese Tactics Games. They have more in common with tactics games then they do RPGs. Unless you're a retard who thinks statistics make a game an RPG.

Witcher 3 is an RPG because you make decisions that alter the course of the character you are role playing as. Final Fagtasy XIVIMIVIVIVMMVMVMC isn't an RPG because it's a set course with no actual player expression. Funny also how "japanese" RPGs are just aping Wizardry for the last 30 years.
