Spider-man 3 has great web swinging and good combat

A good game with some flaws and some very bad padding segments.

Spiderman is the better character because his morals are reinforced by supporting characters, meanwhile Batman is just altruistic for no reason to the detriment of supporting characters and his morals are accepted instead of reinforced.

Spiderman is way better written than Batman, not to say Batman is bad, but Peter Parker is a better character than Bruce Wayne just in how he interacts with his world and how character development goes beyond just his unchanging resolved character against a villain.

It helps that Spiderman is a real city that even villains show respect for, Arkham is just a shit city with no redeeming qualities, so it never feels like Batman is "saving the city".

Peter is eternally portrayed as a youthful student/young adult.

Even the times they force him to "mature" in the comics it always backfires terribly.

At least in the batman comics you see constant growth on bruce's character, from trauma ridden childhood, to naive egocentric, to the greatest detective.

Arkham city has so many stupid plot points it doesnt even make sense why half the shit in it even happens. Asylum was much better
