PC certainly has games, stop being disingenuous man. Like I said, aside from console exclusives, there are many games that are released concurrently across all platforms, or usually receive a version/port later. I agree with the point about price, although I wouldn't buy the new Switch for $200 since it seems worse than the old Switch. I played consoles as well up until PS4/XBone, and most of the games that have been released since that I wanted to play were also released on PC. At some point I will buy a PS4 for some of the exclusives, but otherwise there's no reason to choose console for me when I have much better hardware on my PC for games that exist on all platforms.

Not past 3 years but is the best version: Terraria, Minecraft(not for me though), any MMO.
In the past 3 years, Stardew Valley.
But the point I was making rather is that if a game is coming to PC, or already is on PC, why would I ever pick console unless I need a larger playerbase? Most games are better experienced on PC. That doesn't mean I don't/wouldn't enjoy console exclusives.

Complete anonymity, almost no rules, hands-off moderation... the system rewards people for being low-effort shitposters. This is the logical conclusion of Yea Forums. Because there are no standards. People can get away with screaming "dilate/have sex" at every point you make, forever, and feel like they won. So eventually you're just going to be left with people who are satisfied with that, and everyone else will have learned not to bother.

Technology has advanced to the point where companies can make more money producing interactive movies or digital vacations than actual games. This appeals to pretty much everyone except people who like games as games.

-Writers/Artists get to make more traditional author-centric works rather than making player-centric games. They can say they're making Real Art TM now.

- The general public gets a new form of entertainment that makes them feel like they're a part of the action without it demanding anything from them except their time.

- Companies get writers and artists that are more eager to work, and a broader audience to sell to.

The end result is that gameplay and those who like it are seen as hindrances to these studios. We used to be the customers, and now we're just the weirdos driving away the customers.
