ive had problems with a 3 of my joy cons already but i do switch them from my hacked console to the other one i have quiet often so maybe thats why.
i have to say that after a full calibration all the problems have been fixed.
got a problem also of joycons disconnecting in handheld mode and that also was fixed after a calibration but what wasnt fixed was actual physical stuff like the right joy con rail being lose so that hand held is actually kinda scary on that one.

Pretty much this, I used it since launch and works perfect. I had a couple of friends that dont bath usually and their consoles had the trouble with the drift. I open their joycons and the base of the stick if full of dirt. It was fixed really quick.

I have stick drift issues and I don't ueve use the fucking joycons, I use a GC controller exclusively. when playing, the joycon only comes out when I need to access the system menu for whatever reason.
The GC controller was bought with the OG GC and used in in smash since then. Joycons are shit.

Even plugged in/connected directly to the console it's using wireless connection so you get input delay.
