There's a pseudo SAFFI exploit that exists if you take a ramp at the right angle to glitch through the track barrier. It doesn't give you perma fire like SAFFI did, but it takes your height to the max limit, puts your reserves at full, and can be abused with the ramp slide exploit to keep the game thinking you're still at max height.

Regardless if you go for the first shortcut to skip the uturn, you'll get really fucked by getting clocked or missiles. Have another bad clock point at the second shortcut with the conveyor belt and pistons and then everyone dumps nitro and potions everywhere at the SF pads at the end making it damn near impossible to get maintainable SF. Its not a bad level, it just has too many rough points for multiplayer

I'm still having a lot of fun with this game bros.

I beat all the N.Tropy time trials and like 10 of the oxide ones (though I wasnt challenging oxide when I did those so fuck me I guess, really dont wanna re-do Oxide Station) which has been pretty satisfying since I was really curious as a kid of how N.Tropy and Oxide went so fast.

Now I'm mostly just playing online for an hour at night or so during Wumpa time. Get a podium finish like 60% of the time and half of those podium finishes are 1st place.

So now I'm just slowly going thru Oxide times and eventually platinum relics at my own pace while getting some good matches in online and earning a ton of coins to unlock shit cause there's a lot I like. But I can usually buy something nice in the store everyday and then play with it for a bit, so the spacing is nice.

I know this game has balancing issues and glitches and all sorts of fuck ups, but I'm just so genuinely happy with it man. I'm playing fucking CTR with double the tracks and characters and customization ONLINE. It just makes me happy to sit down half an hour or an hour at night to chill with CTR.

You’re always going to have people trying to push the boundaries of games to see what they can break. It was also a big part in the original ctr community since people would take advantage of the broken tracks like Papu’s Pyramid and hot air skyway. It struggles everywhere, as you saw. It doesn't even come close to the other 'Intermediate' class in top speed, which is Accel.

If that's the case, it needs to be 'Beginner' class and not 'Intermediate'. Stop telling people in-game that it's 'Intermediate' and that people of middling skill can use it. It's not useful there. It's not useful anywhere, really. The top speed is the lowest in the game next to Turning characters which are actually just better overall.

Stick with Accel and Speed. Balanced and Turning are both agreed to be godawful and need buffs before they can be considered viable.

Universal being Jews. CNK was gonna have all of CTR’s content remade for the ground up and just as much original stuff too, but Universal decided it didn’t NEED all that to be functional necessarily and had them wrap up development earlier than anticipated in time for a holiday season release. So all the CTR assets and new assets had to be slapped together haphazardly to make some functional tracks in time for release. It’s why a lot of them look really similar to some CTR tracks while others feel entirely original, it’s to do with the ratio of repurposed remade CTR assets and repurposed new assets. It also didn’t help that Universal decided to take the project away from Traveller’s Tales early on for literally no reason since they weren’t having any development issues or anything, then give Vicarious Visions a timeframe and budget which they later rescinded at short notice which forced them to rush things.

Turning is honestly better than Balanced at both beginner and intermediate skill levels

Yeah it’s great. The remade CNK tracks lack the antigravity bits which got replaced with normal bits, but the small tweaks they made to them in addition to being able to use them with CTR’s mechanics has actually made them some of the best tracks in the game. Not to mention they’re adding new tracks and characters every month to complete the missing original trilogy cast and add some other fan favourite post-ND stuff. There’s even a Spyro crossover planned.

Tracks having acts instead of being unique each means that you are playing the same track, with same assets only in different order, twice.
Moronic rule to separate Sonic universes means that we can never get characters like Honey the cat or Ristar in, only 3d characters and we can also never get sega characters in as it is no longer an all stars game.

Depends on who you ask. For me the car sections were the best parts of the game but as a package Transformed was and is still pretty good.

Which was after DLC was added, and only on the PC version. The game launched with about 24-25 characters and if you got it on console, that's all you got. But 15 is still pretty weak in comparison.

While yes, this does apply to several of them, I think that a majority of the stages do a lot to feel unique. The Rooftop Run stages all look pretty much nothing alike, the sand ones all look different, there's two ice stages that feel and look nothing like each other.

It's still polarizing unfortunately. I personally think a lot of them play better than the CTR tracks now because the physics differences just make them better, not worse. Whereas a lot of CTR tracks fuck me up now because they are different to play now.

I'm 99% certain the anti-grav got dropped because you lose like 3/4s of the universal mechanics of CTR. They'd have to redesign anti-grav entirely so that it's built around the CTR systems and physics and honestly they've got more important shit to do like fixing maps like Sewer Speedway so they're physics based again instead of trigger based along with getting rid of all the weird collision issues that can cause dead stops or make it impossible to go over a lip. Also get rid of some of these dumb as fuck invisible walls that kill your SF and USF on maps like Deep Sea and Sewer because you went halfway up the pipe walls.

N-Sane Trilogy Tawna looks a bit more tomboy-ish to me. Not a bad design, but she feels a bit different from the Pamela Anderson-esque Crash 1 design.
