I wouldn't argue that paladin might be a tad too strong compared to all the other tanks, but I think WAR's in a pretty damn good spot. I was skeptical of the changes at first, but for the most part I've enjoyed most everything about them. It is a little awkward when you're synced down to 50 because hardly any cooldowns, but that's a pretty minor nuisance.

PS3 restrictions are definitely getting phased out with each new expansion, but you still have console limits in mind. There's absolutely no reason for capital cities to be segmented the way they are.

But the engine had trouble with 1.0 on PC. The DX11 update helps. You could also find a reshade preset that isn't a mess of saturation, overdone AO, and bloom. The biggest offenders of the visuals are the low res textures and the lack of proper anti-aliasing.

I never play tank but started leveling GNB and PLD so I'd have stuff to dump beast tribe exp into since i never ranked those up. From what I hear, the tanking and dps ability of the jobs are negligible, but why isn't PLD a lot better than the others if it has all those tools to help the party?

I'm not autistic and that's more or less the problem. I have a job, I have responsibilities as an adult and a member of society. I still have a couple hours a day to play a single player RPG but I have to be able to pause now and then when real life gets in the way. MMOs just doesn't work out because they require, because of those other players, a undivided commitment of time. Who really has time for MMOs except that guy with no job living with his parents, chances are if that ended up like that they are on the spectrum. Real shame.

FFXIV is made to play until you're done with the current story, then you quit and subscribe again when the next batch of story stuff is out.
