However, Gjoni still never said anything about reviews in his post and the reason that typo was there was a mistake because he never intended his spergy break-up post to start anything like GG. Also nearly everything relating to that IRC chat is very suspect. Multiple people (including Gjoni himself) were posting under his name, which Quinn then took to her twitter saying that he was fanning the flames of harrasement, despite the fact that she was citing quotes from multiple different people who were all pretending to be her ex-boyfriend.

It's possible that the mods were trying to protect her from harassment but accidentally applied a sledge-hammer instead of a scalpel to the discussion, it probably has a lot to do with that one guy who would inevitably post her old nudes on any thread on any website discussing it. However really weird shit happened that was unexplainable. For instance a smaller site, GamesNosh, ran an article about the scandal. Neutral-ish but reporting what was rumoured to have been happening. Then the article gets pulled at request of the sites the webmaster. Then the article becomes inaccessible by the WayBack Machine. And then people, who aren't even interested in all this cringe-worthy relationship drama get curious and start trying to figure out what's going on - only to find more weirdness and more strangeness going on. And the media reporting that everything that's happening is nothing but misogynistic harassment when your eyes tell you otherwise.
