It's a decent game. In one hand, it has a very interesting meta-narrative, the characters are charming in a saturday morning cartoon sense and the music is very good. In the other hand, gameplay is a mix of shmup and RPG that takes the worst aspects of both, the story is subpar outside of said meta-narrative and, just like in saturday morning cartoons, dialogue can be cringy and characters can be annoying at its worst.
It's more of an experience than anything. If you never played a deconstruction game before, you'll probably like it. Otherwise, it's painfully average aside from said OST.

The s.oyim and plebbitors desperately trying to make this indie shit acceptable will shill for it breathlessly. Save your money if you have testicles, it’s the ultimate incel game

Personally, I loved it. I don't think it quite deserves the 10/10s it got at release, but I can look past its flaws because the things it does well, it does really well. The creator has made millions off of it so personally I don't see anything morally wrong with pirating it, it's not like he needs the money anymore.

But he's not wrong. You can check the archives and see for yourself. You'd think after nearly 4 years we'd be able to have a decent discussion about the game by now but instead there's always 3-5 memelords that try way too hard to be edgy bait-meisters. Half of which never even played the game and are /pol/-redditors trying to fit in.

Why does the music in this game make me remember happy memories from my childhood? I beat this game for the first time a few days ago. I knew that pacifist run was the "true" ending, but I killed Undyne and ate some of the radish enemies. Is it worth playing again for a true pacifist run or doing a genocide run instead? Also, how do you spare Undyne?

When Undyne turns your heart red, flee from battle and keep running until you reach Hotlands and give her water (she will keep chasing you until then)

You just played the game normally. Play genocide for a quick break and then go ahead and do the pacifist correctly.
