A greenhouse effect cannot and will not ever lead to a new ice age, because it can only heat things. For it to lead to an ice age, the greenhouse would have to be cooling the earth somehow. Heat traveling around the world will not cool it off, only rearrange thermal energy.

The US does not use Imperial, they use US Customary Units which are defined in metric, since the US is an original signee of the Convention of the Meter.
