Seriously nowadays it doesn't matter whether you press M for map or I for inventory since every game has the fucking menu selection at the top no matter which menu you open.

Sums up that time I went down the mechanical keyboard slippery slope.
Went from a full membrane to a numpad-less to 60% with keypad dongle.
Then just got tired of it all and got a full mech with 18 key macros.

The general benefit that "special keyboards" manufacturers give is that they prevent carpal tunnel syndrome. Whether this is true or worth looking like an absolute tool is up to debate.
