how can console fags ever recover, literally? I was bored lateley, wanted to try a new game, chose botw. But since I don't have a wiiu/switch I was looking for an emulator and wtf after maybe searching and downloading around for 3 hours I can play it on my medium pc in stable 30 fps, didn't even try to maximise every setting sofar. Only issue is everytime you enter a new area or have a new particle effect to load the shaders have to update, so whenever you load that particular shader again it works smootheley, but you can even download prerendered shaders if you're bothered by it too much. Also had only ONE (1) hard crash so far after maybe 20 hours (a wild horse entered water it seemed, maybe its not supposed to happen). I almost feel bad for pirating botw, if it weren't made by nintendo and the game were avialable easily for pc and for max 10 bucks i'd buy it. Honestly botw is from 2017, how is it possible that emulators are now so good they can surpass the very console they're emulating if you have a good enough pc to achieve that and that in maybe 1 - 2 years after release? Hell, cemu even offers fucking netplay, NETPLAY! you can pirate a game with online functions and join official servers where console fags play. Literally why are there still console exclusive games, it makes no sense whatso ever. Cemu has mod support, cheats, various shader settings (if you don't like the cartoonishbright). You can play with 120 fps 4k increased viewrange and everything. Why would you ever buy any console again? Unless you're able to feed the data of that console into an emulator that is. Bless emulator creators honestly.

I have a laptop from 2013 and over the years several games on Dolphin went from trash to fully playable.
I installed cemu the other day just for fun, and Hyrule Warriors actually ran decently at times.
Sadly there were some terrible periodic framedrops no matter what was going on on the screen, probably caused by my old CPU drops so its not really playable.

lol i dont go to often, i just thought i post about my finding because it was a total refreshing expirience that everthing worked out, didn't even catch a virus after downloading it all. In addition botw is so much fun to play, all about it feels new, like when I played n64 games the first time as 10 year old. The exploring, using ingame physic and enviournment to your advantage, facing strong enemies over and over until you win. Running around with magnetism and swooshing metal objects against goblins to kick em into water. Getting totally annhiliated by a lynel (lionel? dunno the correct name). Its such a great fun i dont even look info/tips up on the web. Usually i dont give zero fucks about spoilers but this time im not actively searching anything about this game, except fornthe difference of master and normal mode.
I don't even think it's young people by a majority. yes i remember that i downloaded dolphin in maybe 2015 to play loz twillight princess on my old pc. was playable until i entered the big maps, especially as wolf link running around in the hyrule fields was the worst and i lost interest. after that maybe 6 months ago i tried to get armored core fa emulated, but couldn't find a ac fa iso, either ps3 or xbox so i gave up. crazy to think how far emulation has come

xenoblade x is honestly more enjoyable on cemu than on wii u because you can make the text larger which is one of the biggest complaints in the game

The problem is not the quality of the emulation but finding the games to actually play on it. Most sites don't have current or last gen stuff up yet. Best I can usually find is up to Gamecube. Even Wii games are pretty obscurely hidden still.
